Very easy to fill, and use, also easy to clean. My only complaint is that the area where the paint comes out is too far from the roller, which causes it to pool underneath the roller, and leak out onto the floor as you're using it. I had to continuously alternate between the "paint" and "store" functions as I was using it, to control the amount of paint coming out.

I was skeptical that this would even work. This is the easiest method of touching up my walls, I bought another for the bedrooms. We have a wheelchair and it is constantly bumping into and marking up the walls. This makes it quick and easy to touch up at the end of our normal cleaning.** Update: one must remove the roll, (paint brush), and clean the reservoir beneath or it gets plugged up. Easy enough to clear but doing so when finishing means that is ready to go the next time.

I am not a handy person so to speak, don't know much about any type of handiwork (my parents didn't exactly get me ready for the real world), with that being said it seemed slightly unfair that the touch up painting around our house should fall solely on my husband's to do list. I decided with the help of this little tool I could patch some dings/holes AND touch up the paint. So the day I ordered the roller I started filling, just put my 1st coat on today and can I just say, it is awesome! I COULD however see it having its flaws (much like anything else), but the hardest part of this contraption was twisting the lid off and filling it with paint! I just looked to see if I could purchase a 2nd one and they are no longer available. Will edit my review with an after picture.

I purchased this to use in my gallery. We are often filling small nail holes and occasionally need to add a bit of paint over the spackle. Unfortunately, since it's a pain to take out the paint and a brush, people don't always do this and we end up having noticeable spots on the wall where you can see patches. So, I wanted an easy way for the artists to touch up after filling a hole. This thing works perfectly for that! I was worried the paint might dry out inside, but you have to twist it to open it to use it so it stays sealed when not in use (if you twist it shut -- very important). Also, once you do close it, it's easy to then wash off the roller part so that it the paint doesn't dry and harden there. We've used it a few times and the roller works well (I have reminded everyone that they must clean it really well after each use.I should mention that the bottom part that holds the paint is soft rubber (not plastic) so it's easy to squeeze out paint when you are using it without worrying that you are going to crack and break it. It doesn't put out a lot of paint, just enough to cover the roller so you can paint it on. And the texture is similar to a large paint roller with a fine nap so it blends well on the wall and doesn't leave streaks like a brush can.Now we have a simple way to do small touch ups when we change out a show. This little thing has been so useful and everyone loves it. In fact, several of my artists have ordered one for themselves to keep at home for touch-ups. I definitely recommend it. We've only been using it for a month or so but I'll update my review if anything changes. For the price, if we had to buy a new one every six months or so, it would be totally worth it.

This little roller comes in handy, and I use it all the time. I would recommend it for someone else to buy this. This is so convenient instead of having to open up a large paint can to do a few touch-ups, you just have to pull out your little roller ,and roll it on and it goes on very smooth and it has a great finishing product.

Using this works as one would expect. However extra careful care should be taken since when in open mode, the paint flows easy enough to drip out. I found that opening it up for a few seconds, upside down while rolling it, and then closing it to spread the paint works best and reduces unintended drips. With this I'm mind, I'll be ordering a few more so I have touch ups of all the house colors.

This is a great little product. It keeps the paint fresh, and it's very handy to just grab and make touchups. I'm using it with my interior wall paint to touch up any marks I happen to notice. Just remember to wash the little roller thing after every use, and it would be good to also take off the top and wash that after using. I noticed that the paint inside the top dries after awhile, and you have to wash it to allow the paint to come through. Easier to wash it off when the paint is still wet inside, but I keep forgetting!

Exactly what we were looking for. Hope there will be no problem with getting the replacement rollers. This is a great idea though and would recommend.

I had one of these that I purchased at Lowes 5 years ago and filled it when I painted our LR back then. Skip ahead to this spring and I had to fill some large holes when we moved our TV. The paint, 5 years later, still matched an didn't separate. It was great. It covered and you couldn't even tell. I am going to have one of these every time I paint a room. I sure beats trying to handle big gallon cans, and stirring, etc. for a 5 inch touch up job, and not at all messy.

Perfect for quick touchups around the house! I fill mine with leftover paint during the painting process and then store it in the same room that was painted if possible (such as under the kitchen sink). This way if I see a mark I cannot clean off the wall, I grab my Shur-Line, roll it on, clean the roller & put it back for next time. This is my 2nd Shur-Line Touch Up Painter and I like the changes to this new model while still keeping some of the best features of the old. - Easy to use quickly when you need a touch up - Easy to clean afterwards - Stands up while filling (old one required either two people or propping it up in something else while you poured in the leftover paint)- See through bottom so that you can tell at a glance what color & how much remains. - No longer shaped strangely (my Mom thought the old one was a dildo!)Though I still gave it 5 stars, I do wish it came with a lid as the old one did. Not really a necessity with the new design so I understand why it was removed. It also seemed to hold less paint than the old one though I did not do a full compare. Either way it is probably more paint than I will ever use as touchups.I will be buying more!
