I have used this product in Australia for years and loved it, but this model was difficult to get sponge on and off, did not hold (good quality) paint well. The single sponge head option was extremely poor value as the so called "paint tray" inclusion was just the plastic cover it came in and was useless for applying the right amount of paint to the sponge.Dissapointed customer.

After year of using masking tape and just accepting touching up this tool is amazing! Now I only done a living room so wasn't too high and was all done by hand, I didn't need a pole but done a 26m² living room cutting into the ceiling.I tested it on a corner of 2 walls to see how it worked. It doesn't go right into the corner unless you push hard and it will probably break but goes in enough. So once I was happy I tried it on on wall near ceiling and started my 1st coat. As I said it doent go right into corner but goes in far enough that it looks good. It follows your ceiling so if there are bumps, you'll get them too.I brushed the paint onto tool as read other people moaning about getting the wheels dirty with paint. Done the 1st coat in 20 mins. The corners don't fully meet but use a small brush to finish off and you'll be fine. Also if your going right up to another wall with a different colour your going to need to keep edges very clean or use paper or something.2nd coat as its getting stickier wasna little harder as the tool isn't as easy to move so take care but that's only because I didn't have time to leave 1st coat to fully dry.All in all a great wee tool ...... use carefully and you'll be fine

Assumed it was a gimmick but it actually works. As everyone says, load it with a brush, don't overload. As you progress you will load it a little more but start sparesly. Two handed pressure works best. Yes the red plastic part feels cheap but the pad washes out well and the clips not being central is I suspect part of the design to increase pressure near the top edge. The wheels mean you get 2 mm of ceiling paint visible along the top of your wall but it follows the ceiling line exactly. Fastest straightest cutting in I have ever achieved, but the very corner of the rooms need a tiny brush to close the gap. I paid £9 which seemed worth the risk and it has paid off.

Didn't come with clear directions on how to use. Did not find it very helpful because a lot of precision is required to put the paint on a sponge. Surprisingly it holds a lot of paint and the smooth it out very well

I love this nifty tool I used it to paint my house and not only edges in some cases the full wall. It held a ton of pains and after practice was very user friendly and easy to clean up

Buy a better type of this same product. Not the best made out there.

I really like this tool. It's the best money I ever spent. This tool saved me numerous trips up a 22ft climb on a ladder to paint a wall. Great tool but you have to have a lot of patience while using.

Where has this product been all my life? I’m never using tape again. YouTube some videos on technique first and you’ll be great.

I have used this Shur-Line edging brush for some time. It has a handle, replaceable pad brush, and rollers that keep the entire unit from coming in too close of contact with an edge. The unit works well if you don't try to overload it with too much paint, and when you apply only a small amount of pressure. When you apply too much pressure too much paint comes off of the pad brush too quickly, and the wheels get fouled with paint and make a huge mess along the edge you are trying to make. If, however, you load the brush with only a moderate amount of paint, and you apply only a moderate amount of pressure, this unit can work well. When the wheels get paint on them though, you need to take off the pad and wipe/rinse the excess paint off of the wheels. If you don't do that, then you will have a mess that won't quit.4 stars for careful, patient painters. Probably 1-2 stars for impatient folks.
