Good size for feeding. Nice heavy weight and sturdy stone- My tortoise had no problem using it to eat his veggies. A piece of stone did chip off when I unbox it, but it still look good. I like how the edges look layers and natural.

I got the larger 7.9x11.8 size. There is a logo on the top left of the slate rock that says NOMOypet on it, it's actually the same as another slate rock I had gotten from a different brand in a smaller size.The quality is great, it's pretty thick and heavy the edges are my favorite part (see photo). No chipping or cracks. Pretty much the same as my smaller one, except this one is bigger. I like this one much more than my other one since it's larger, so there's more space for my tortoise to chill on if he wants to take a break from his meals. There's more than enough space for his 4 inch self to still bask under the heat and uvb while his meal is on the other end. Other than the size, there is no other difference between this and the other one I have that's smaller that's branded with the same logo.I'd recommend the NOMOypet brand slate rocks 100%.
