Kills fleas & ticks, but does not work for a full month. Every month my cat has to deal with a few fleas for a week or two because it doesn't last. I do not want to reapply more often than directed, as it's not safe.It seems as though it is the same with EVERY brand of flea & tick treatment. A veterinarian told me it's because the medication is just not strong enough & the fleas are growing immune to it. Companies have been using the same medications & dosages of flea & tick treatment for dogs & cats for many years & that's the problem.

We've used this on our cats for months now and it works for us. From the elderly to younger cats we've had no issues with irritation or side effects. No chemical odor either. We haven't seen a flea or had itchy cats for a really long time , especially if you keep on top of using it.

I take my cat out on a harness. I flea treat her every month, but like every flea med, fleas gain a resistance over time. I switched from another Sentry brand flea med and so far, no fleas. It definitely works for my baby, so I do recommend.

Half the price of the Frontline Plus, same active ingredients. It's not a prime eligible item, however it was ordered at the same time as prime items. It arrived the same day as most of the prime items from that order, and even a day before the other prime items arrived! And this is all a week ahead of schedule! Very happy with the prompt delivery. I have not had to use any flea treatments on my indoor cat yet, so I don't know how well the product works (will re-write review when I see how well it does). Our fleas aren't too terrible, so I'm hoping for good results. The product didn't smell too terrible, and the smell dissipated quickly. My cat wasn't bothered by it in the least, but again, this is my first flea treatment on him so he might just be totally chill like that (because he's the best cat ever. lol). He's a large Maine Coon, and there's no weight limit listed on this product other than minimum weight. So don't spend your money on Advantage II (that bases on weight AND WILL MAKE YOUR CAT'S HAIR FALL OUT.... seriously, go look at the pictures in the product reviews here on Amazon!) or Frontline (same active ingredients), grab this instead and give it a shot! You'll be pleased with the service, I'm sure. The only thing left for the review is to see how well it works. But no strong smell was nice. The application process was simple and not messy at all. Once it dries, the cat can be bathed or submerged in water and it won't effect the effectiveness of the product (per the manual), so that's a plus. So basically, it's not Prime, but totally worth trying out!

I had tried everything to rid my home of fleas and only this was successful. The 1st application reduced the fleas by about 1/2. The 2nd application fully completed the job as well as clearing out all shady brush in my yard where fleas could hide. My cat is only indoors but my dogs were bringing fleas into the house. Despite having our yard sprayed many times, using a flea comb @ 3xs daily on all the pets, washing and sanitizing all pet beds weekly and sofa blankets for months, as well as using flea bombs and vacuuming my tiled home often (no carpets or rugs), one of my cats had numerous scabs from a severe allergic flea reaction not experienced by any of my other pets. I used this only on him being careful not to place it on any open wounds. Now, he is completely scab free and healed all the way! I think the combination of the 2nd application and clearing out all yard brush is what finally was effective. I read fleas can't survive in direct sunlight so I finally spent a weekend making sure there was little shade for fleas to hide. I'll still probably use the 3rd application to seal the deal before winter comes.
