The build quality on these brackets are exceptional. This is an excellent value option to build an elevated deer stand. The fit of these on the standard dimensional lumber is perfect. When attached these are very solid. You still have to do some work with the wood, but these really help to quickly get a solid frame that you can build your platform on. It is a huge time saver and it would cost more in lumber if you added the required support to do the same. When finished the platform I build was very stable and will last for many seasons.

I received the SELEWARE Deer Stand Brackets 4-Pack and put them to use right away for a backyard observation deck project. The brackets are solid—made from heavy-duty, powder-coated steel that shrugs off rust and bad weather. Installation was straightforward thanks to the pre-drilled holes, and I appreciated how the compound angle design made the platform feel stable and secure, even on uneven ground.One thing some folks might want to consider is that hardware isn’t included, so you’ll need to have your own lag screws or bolts on hand. For me, that wasn’t a problem—I prefer choosing my own fasteners anyway, but it’s worth noting if you like everything in one box. The brackets themselves are sturdy and well-made, and I didn’t run into any issues with fit or finish.I used these to build a raised deck for birdwatching with my nephews, and it’s been a hit. The structure feels safe and reliable, and I can see these brackets holding up for years.

These brackets arrived quickly and without damage.These are very nicely made. Good design, properly sized for nominal 4x4’s, excellent welds and good powder coated finish. You couldn’t ask for a better product.Would I buy this again, Yes.I use Amazon reviews every time when considering a product purchase. 4 pack, Green, Deer Stand Brackets. These are HEAVY DUTY, 4X4 brackets. High Grade Quality. The angles are perfectly designed to simplify the job, and fit the lumber, with no hassle. They work extremely well and sturdy. An excellent value especially for the saved frustration.The brackets are heavy gauge and have great stability.

These 4 packs of SELEWARE steel compound angle brackets are very good quality steel brackets with solid and clean welding and a nice enamel coating. A 4x8 ft, platform could be built with these brackets and with the angles- even a platform 8 ft. or more high will be a sturdy and long-lasting setup with a ladder and safety railings -for a safe hunting platform. I am building a 4x8 ft. table for rock saws and tumbling equipment with these brackets and definitely need at least 8 more for other projects. Excellent product and a great find!

There are cheaper ways to build exterior structures, but none of them are likely to be as solid as these brackets. The metal is heavy and thick with a good coating of green enamel on them. The box was packed with soft sheets to minimize damage, however, one of the brackets had enamel chipped on it regardless. This would be a concern if I was using this outside, but I am in the process of building a workbench with it. While using 4x4s and 2x6s is probably overkill for a workbench, I plan on putting a lot of heavy tools on it. The brackets angle out, which is a little challenging for cutting 4 equal length legs, I confess. Also, as an aside, I would not call this a "military" green. Other than the chipping and the color, I absolutely love these and I wish I had more of them.
