We are fairly new at earning a hot tub. It’s a lot of trial and error. It got very cloudy A few weeks after setting it up. My daughter-in-law recommended. I try this product as her parents use it in their hot tub. It was super easy to use, the bottle has lines on it so you know how to measure it. And it worked perfectly. Would recommend

We’ve been using this product in our spa forever. I’m very happy with it and don’t plan to change brands anytime soon.

Most clarifiers I've tried have worked only to clog filters. The chitosan in this Seaklear allows for a finer particulate to be collected by the filter, while the natural enzyme will eradicate most organic material from the filter. Definitely recommend.

Clearly marked on the bottle it states, "Do not allow product to freeze." I called Bio-Lab Inc (the mfr) and they said it shouldn't matter as their concern is about it bursting the bottle when it freezes, and that the product's performance shouldn't be affected. However, other sellers of Chitosan say its molecular composition changes when frozen and they recommend replacing it.

This product captures/encapsulates contaminates in the water and makes them easier to filter out. Less scum on the walls, and clearer water, the next day.

Best clarifier we've found. This stuff works great at getting rid of lotions and body oils and keeping the foam gone! It doesn't effect my pH at all, I use it once a week (1oz.) And haven't had a problem yet. When I initially received it, I used about 3 maybe 4 ounces to fix the clarity issues that the previous chemicals didn't fix at all. Checked the next day, to allow it time for it to work, and I was pleasantly surprised that the water was clear and when I turned on the Jets NO FOAM! I use 1oz. A week now and have zero problems. Love this stuff.

I bought this item to use in my portable (inflatable) hot tub. I did read the directions about quantities to use, but I never follow directions. It has a squeeze bottle type top, so I just guess at the amount I am using. The product does work very well. I usually add it with the "bubbles" on to aid in mixing in the water. There is no chemical smell from the product, and I am very pleased with it. One thing I did find out though is just how well it works to remove "Heavy Metals" from the water (as it says it does). My wedding ring is made from white gold (an alloy of Gold and Rhodium). It was also Rhodium plated to give it more of a silver finish. Perhaps it's because I added too much product to the water, but my wedding ring is no longer white. It is now more of a yellow gold. I'm not upset by this, but some people might be. Just be forewarned that this product does do what it says, and remove your jewelry before going in water treated with it.I would definitely recommend buying this product. Just don't wear white gold in your hot tub...
