The SafeAir MDI Color Comparator is an accessory for use with SafeAir TDI/MDI badge (Morphix Part# 382001-50), which detects Aromatic Isocyanates. Badges are sold separately.
This Color Comparator can be used to determine MDI (Methylene Diphenyl Diisocyanate) exposure dose by matching the color on the badge to a color on the comparator. The comparator is a specially designed color chart which features a slot for inserting a badge. Once the badge is inserted, the user can turn a wheel to match the color on the badge to the comparator, and the corresponding exposure dose is indicated in the exposure dose window. The comparator measures MDI exposure dose from 5 – 140 ppb·hr.
A separate color comparator is available for measuring toluene diisocyanate (TDI) exposure dose. Both the MDI and TDI color comparators are optional accessories for use with the SafeAir TDI/MDI Badge.
