The steps are heavy metal so very sturdy, however, I prefer written directions to a few pictures that for me are more difficult to follow.

Looks as pictured, came well packaged with no damage. Stable and supports required weight with no issue. It is used to enter and exit a hot tub. I chose the model with 2 handrails. The prior steps used came with the spa, were made of a resin of some type and had no handrails. Over time, physical issues made entering and exiting the spa too difficult for a family member. They can now use the spa due to the handrails. Missing a star as assembly instructions are drawings only and vaque. This may make proper assembly difficult for some people. Also, the screws come in 3 sizes. The package was missing 1 short screw, but had an extra medium length screw which I could use. The steps are quite adequate and I expect them to last a long time.
