I couldn't be happier with this sleeping pad. Carried it for a 4 day hike and it held up well. A few nicks and scratches but still in decent shape. I slepted great all three nights on this baby. I also carried my tarp rolled up into the pad to make more room in my pack. Ill wear this one out and just buy a new one since the price is right.

The pad is made of "closed cell" foam, which means its not like a sponge. it traps air for insulation. However, I used it to pad a case for a full length electronic keyboard. IT WORKED PERFECTLY. The closed cell aspect means it won't compress and stay compressed. It will continue to pad the keyboard for many years. Thank you very much.

I bought this pad as a last minute precaution for a camping trip. This mat provides minimal comfort, yet excellent support over an uneven surface when out in the wilderness. The material picks up all kinds of dirt and debris, like a magnet in fact, but it does the job that it is intended to do. It seems to be quite durable and I am quite happy with my purchase.

Good price, seems rugged, dead simple... but it did not roll up quite as small as I had hoped... and did not want to stay Unrolled when I laid it out flat... The Tube it creates is still nearly 6 inches in diameter no matter how small you roll it... so, space wise, it is Almost as big as a sleeping bag... rolled, and not quite as big to sleep on unrolled...

I bought this pad to line the bottom of my duck blind dog box. My dog loves it and after a retrieve in the cold water now has a floor that allows him to regain his heat quickly. I have a neoprene coat for him, but he still shivered constantly when sitting. Now after several minutes on the pad he is much more comfortable. I would think this would also be a good floor for any dog house as long as your dog is not a digger, for then the dog would tear it up pretty quickly. Another use I could see would be Lambeau stadium. The seats are all metal bleachers and the floor is concrete. You could cut this pad to fit several seats and another for your feet. The closed cell would allow you to wash off the beer certain to find its way on one or both of the pads.:):):)

It is bit more than other lower cost items. It is a bit wider than lower cost item. It's light weight and great for backpacking. I'm happy with the purchase. I wish the strap is adjustable - not a fixed diameter elastic band.
