I ordered these and though they were fine. I ordered the wrong size, so with it being so small. It was hard to get the seeds in without it. Breaking, make sure you measure the size you need before ordering!!

These little rockwool cubes work perfectly for growing lettuce or other greens in a hydroponic setup. My "deep water culture" indoor setup uses two bussing tubs with nine 1 1/4" holes drilled into the cover of each tub. 18 small net pots are inserted into the holes and then the rockwool cubes with already-started lettuce seedlings are placed into the net pots. Add water and nutrients, plus an airstone in each tub pumping in oxygen for the roots, and you have a nice little garden producing fresh lettuce all year-round.

This is much better than those stinky little sponges, I find it easier to work with and it stays wet for a longer period of time. If I have too many plants for my hydro unit these transfer easily to my raised garden. You get quite a few and they store well.

I recently tried using the SKINNYBUNNY Rockwool Cubes for my hydroponic planting needs, and it turned out to be a cultivation catastrophe that left my gardening efforts in ruins. These cubes, which were supposed to facilitate soilless culture and transplanting, fell far short of my expectations. 🌱🙅♂️The advertised convenience of these cubes was non-existent. It's like trying to assemble furniture without the instructions. The supposed ease of use was overshadowed by the lack of guidance on how to properly prepare and use them. This resulted in confusion and frustration, making the transplanting process anything but straightforward. It's more of a horticultural headache than a practical solution. 📦🌿The quality of the Rockwool Cubes was questionable. It's like building a house with crumbling bricks. The cubes began disintegrating and shedding fibers, which I believe are not ideal for plant health or the environment. Their fragility made them a poor choice for a gardening medium. It's more of a gardening faux pas than a reliable tool. 🏗️🪴The promised hole design was more of a hindrance than a help. It's like trying to fit a square peg into a round hole. The holes often seemed too small or irregularly shaped, making it difficult to insert seedlings or seeds. This design flaw added an unnecessary level of complexity to the transplanting process. It's more of a holey ordeal than a convenient feature. 🔲🕳️In conclusion, the SKINNYBUNNY Rockwool Cubes turned out to be a significant letdown for my hydroponic gardening efforts. Their lack of clear instructions, questionable quality, and inconvenient hole design make them an impractical choice for soilless culture and transplanting. If you're serious about your hydroponic or soilless gardening, I strongly recommend exploring other options. These Rockwool Cubes are more likely to leave your gardening aspirations in disarray and disappointment. 🌾🚫🌿
