(1)Disconnect the battery – Remove the negative cable to prevent electrical shocks during installation.
(2)Locate the ignition coil – Find it near the engine, typically on the valve cover or spark plugs.
(3)Remove electrical connectors – Unplug wiring harnesses carefully to avoid damage.
(4)Unscrew mounting bolts – Use a socket wrench to detach the coil from its position.
(5)Install the new coil – Align it properly and secure it with bolts to ensure a tight fit.
(6)Reconnect wiring – Plug all connectors back in, ensuring they click into place.
(7)Reattach the battery – Connect the negative cable to restore power to the vehicle.
(8)Test the engine – Start the car to verify the new coil is functioning correctly.
