It's not deep enough to have the securing screw to be entirely covered by the lock.Had to get it to the point where is not in all the way in order to be able to lock it.

I purchased the lock to secure my RVs spare tire. It was quick and easy to install and the lock is well constructed. Should help deter any dishonest person from trying to steal.

Excellent quality for this type of product. I used it for the spare on a dump trailer ($300 wheel and tire). It’ll definitely keep someone from just walking up (deter) and spinning the lug nut off in 3 seconds.

The dang homeless, (at least I think it was the homeless, honestly who else has the time and effort to put into such an endeavor,) stole my spare tire AND the lug nuts. These babies stopped this problem right away. Boom! Done.
