I bought this driver side window relay in June. I did not replace the part right away. Installed the part in November, the window would go down but not back up. My original issue was that the window would not go down, but would go up without a problem. Since I had just replaced this relay, I thought it could not be the culprit of the window not going up issue. I then ordered a new window regulator and replaced it. I had the same issue, window would go down but not back up. I was lost for about 20 mins thinking, is there a wiring issue!?!?! I then removed the relay and installed a jumper across the window up contacts in the switch. It worked! I then went to the Pick-N-Pull and found an OEM Ford driver window relay. It worked perfectly in all functions. Do not buy knock off electronic products for your vehicles. In the case of this item, it was defective as new from the supplier. I can't request a refund because too much time has passed. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!!!!

This relay is either defective or is not the correct relay for every focus year 00-11. I bought it for my 2005 focus 2.0L and it only rolled the window down, but not up. Had to jimmy my old relay to get window back up. My old relay has pitted contacts and they arc 80% of the time when the relay actually works. It is intermittent and is likely the contact points along with a failing relay chip.
