Bought this after my original PS4 fan had trouble spinning even after cleaning it. This replacement works well and was easy for me to install it.

Easy to install if you follow online tutorials. Only issue I found is that the part should include the paste to go on top of the cpu for the PS4. Installed the fan and right away the game started to overheat and shut down. Not until we bought thermal paste, took everything apart and added new paste did the until work properly. Given you have to remove the heat shield for the cpu to replace the fan should also provide thermal paste as part of the kit

...the hole cut outs for where the fan seats are just barely off, but I was still able to "pop" the fan down into the seat. Very very tight fit and fan didn't come with any large pads for the metal frame that sits on top of it. I had to end up making stacks of pads with thermal pads. After installation and turning the ps4 back on, the fan turned on and was very quiet. No more overheating issue for this ps4. Just make sure you know how to clean and apply thermal paste when you decide to replace a fan. Most the time it's not the fan that's at fault, but dust build up between the fan and fins, which is only accessible by taking apart almost every piece, and redoing thermal paste and pads. I accidentally damaged my original fan during the process, and this one works with a day 1 ps4.

My old fan needed to be replaced big time and this was a great fix! I did notice the holes didn’t line up perfectly so I took my drill with a small bit and widened the hole. Doing that allowed the fan to fit right in to place and has worked awesome since! Not the easiest to replace but great value for a fan replacement especially if you haven’t cleaned your fan in a long time.

No more overheating. I ran the ps4 for a month with no issues. I had to file off an imperfection on the metal edge around one of the holes to fit this thing in place. Much quieter but not absolutely silent. My system wouldn't run at all after the fan finally quit. The heat sink was also clogged in gunk. You have to strip the whole thing right down to the plastic case but odds are it needs it. Careful there's a few sensitive looking clips. Surprisingly easy to do this job. FYI sony will still repair if you "f" this up it cost me $113 to send away my slim after i couldn't reaper the power issue. They've had that for a month or more now...

I’ve had my ps4 since launch date and when I tell you it was loud I’m talking a straight up blow dryer on max settings. I also thought I could resolve the issue by cleaning dust but that never worked. Eventually I decided to buy a replacement fan and let me tell you, this product is so worth it. The sound went completely away and I can’t express how much this product is worth buying. 100/10

This fan is very noisy when idling. It drove me so nuts that I'm actually returning it. Under load it wasn't too much louder than idle which is not a bad thing if the noise at idle was lower.

Leí que no era compatible con el modelo pero si quedo bien solo tuve que darle un poco de darle tantita presión para que se colocará el ventilador hace un pequeño ruido el ventilador pero no es molesto, a comparación de los otros que vienen.

I replaced the fan in my friends sons PS4 CUH-1001A. Apparently, the old fan was smoking too many cigarettes. But that's a different conversation. The new fan was a perfect fit and is working flawlessly, at least for the time being. The only complaint is of an administrative nature which would not bother most people and certainly should not bother anybody who has read this review. The description says clearly that this replacement fan fits ps4 CUH-1001A CUH-11XX CUH-1000 CUH-1000AB01 CUH-1000AB02 1115A 1115B and also that it does NOT fit the CUH-1200 Series. Clearly, the description is correct based on my experience. The minor complaint has to do with the label that was on the plain brown box that the replacement fan came in which seemed to indicate that the contents were for a CUH-1200. This caused me a great deal of unnecessary anxiety while I went through the steps to disassemble the PS4 so I could find out whether I was shipped the correct fan. It just seems to me that someone was too incompetent to make sure the box had the correct label. So if you purchase this replacement fan and you get one with a label that says you received the wrong fan, don't despair until you find out for sure.
