I can’t speak to longevity or battery life yet.The battery won’t fit in the Sony tv phones until you enlarge the slot between the batteries. I used a hot mini screw driver to melt open the slot. 2 min. And they work!

Holds a charge for a 1:5 hour movie before a clicking sound occurs. It could be the 8 year old head phone charger rather than the battery.

The negative reviews about this replacement battery aren't fair. They must have been written when this product was less powerful and much more expensive. I bought this for less than $8, and it works perfectly. No modifications needed, no superglue, no credit cards and no recycling of old parts. It's super convenient (the hardest part was figuring out how to take the battery cover off the headphones - there's a button on the bottom of mine that says "push"), and the batteries have 27% more capacity than what it replaced. The other reviews say just to buy a pack of AAA rechargeables and make them work by either using the old case or modifying the headphones. One review even suggests to pour superglue into the headsets! That just doesn't make sense. And most packages of AAA rechargeable batteries come in a 4-pack, so it ends up costing more and wastes 2 batteries. Just for kicks, I went over to CVS to price out the batteries, and they were selling a Duracell 4-pack for $18! So even if you have two sets of headphones, you would be better off to get a couple of these. This is actual a very good deal and my old Sony wireless headphones are now as good as new (I had previously replaced the foam pads). If you give this a positive review, it will hopefully replace the negative one that is not accurate anymore.

When the battery in my 83 year-old hard-of-hearing mother's wireless headphones went bad, I checked with numerous local retailers looking for this battery. They all (including one national chain store that only does batteries and light bulbs) said they did not have, could not get, nor make this battery. Amazon had several versions of this battery and this was one of the cheapest (much cheaper than ordering from the manufacturer). The battery fit perfectly and holds a charge longer than the original did when new. Could not be happier about this purchase.

Bought two battery's to replace the originals. One battery would charge fine with out any problem. The second one had some type of coating on the poll that prevented the battery from charging. Tried it in both headset without success and had to try several things to clean the contacts so it would make contact. Since then it has worked OK

The battery was the correct one - right model number. But it did not work. I fit into the remote Sony earphones but not exactly as the original battery. I made sure that the contacts were in the correct position but still the earphones did not work. This is after the battery had been in the earphones sitting on the charger for at least 24 hours. So I concluded that the battery was not suitable for the earphones - didn't sit in the cradle quite as neatly as the original OR it was a defective battery.I have decided to go to RadioShack with the earphones and get a replacement. The vendor refunded the cost and shipping. With that I am satisfied. But the battery!~!!!!!

The replacement battery has been installed and seems to be working fine. No problems.I have one question--- The number "700mAh" is different from the original (I believe it was "550mAh".but am not sure. It did not seem to make a difference in how the headset operated.)My order was handled in your usual efficient way and I received the battery very promptly.I am very well satisfied with all of the transactions I have had with Amazon.Joe T.Gilbert
