I got this jacket to keep in my car to wear in an emergency. I needed something that could pack down small but still be bright and visible in case I needed to get out of my car and be seen in low light. This fits the bill, I looked at the size chart and got my size and it fit as expected - maybe a tad snug around the hips, but nothing that bothers me. If I could do it again though, I'd probably order a size up so I could throw it on over whatever layers I'm wearing. Still, the ability to pack it up into a pocket and have it be bright and reflective is everything that I needed it to be and I'm really pleased with it.

It has a bit of an oder when you first open it so air it out a bit. It's very good at blocking wind and rain. The jacket has a very vibrant color that has reflective parts so it's great for at night. It's not very thick or warm, but it is lightweight.

The seams are taped well. The vents are nice, I would prefer under the armpit vents but this works well if you’re a runner. The vent placement had me wishing there was some sort of gusset for the armpits for greater mobility, however I do enjoy the increased arm length to compensate. It’s bright, the hood adjusts well enough so if you aren’t wearing a helmet you don’t blind yourself with the front dropping over your eyes.I think it’s phenomenal and maybe aside from missing gauntlet cuffs for my wrists this is exactly what I wanted.One thing to note, if you’re fat, and gross, you won’t be able to pretend you’re a size lower than reality.You can outrun a lot, but not your delusions.

Briefly, as I reviewed two other products earlier, the jacket is super bright. That's what I really like. I'm a nut about safety and visibility, and after 2 accidents, to me it matters and a few extra dollars is not as important as being seen. I care about comfort and fit. Medium was fine (5'10, 165), go larger if you really will be wearing a number of layers underneath (2 or more). Good ventilation and the hood is good to have especially with all the recent rain here in California. FYI - I'm checking out socks and vest as well and will report back.

I like the look of this, and it had cool features. Plenty of reflective tape, zip open vents, buuutWho is this designed for?! The torso was tight, I almost couldn’t zip it up. It’s too short also. The armpits are too high, which restricts arm movement but then the arms go past my hands. The hood is huuuuge. Maybe it’s supposed to go over an oversized bike helmet and leave room for snacks, idk.

There are some serious quality issues with the jacket:1. The seam seal "tape" is not bonded to the seams everywhere and sticks up a few places, especially near the ends. The seam seal tape is also "wrinkled" in many places. It does not look like it would keep water out if water got on the seams. The wrinkled and lifting seal tape is very uncomfortable on the skin and even through clothing.2. The zipper "garage" at the neck does not cover one side of the zipper. It looks like the zipper is longer on one side, or the "garage" was sew incorrectly.Also, the hood does NOT tuck into collar. You can "stuff" it down your back, but not convenient or comfortable. The hood is very large and can cover a full sized bike helmet.There are some things that I did like about the jacket. The reflective highlights are better than any other flourescent yellow jacket that is on Amazon.
