I love this thing. I absolutely HATE manual can openers. They suck so bad and I keep going through them but this works so well! You just put it on top of the can and keep doing what you need to do and it's done in 15 seconds. Easy to use. Also it opens cans without it being to sharp!

I received this item in a timely fashion and I must say it is the best can opener I ever bought. As described works fast, no sharp edges, easy to operate and very quiet. Unit is made in China for those interested. All in all very happy with this purchase

After using a few different can opener that, which only last for a short while, I began looking for one that will last and is easy to use, since I have arthritis in my hands, I came upon Canslab Electric Can Opener. I was skeptical at first, but I decided to give it a try. I have been using it since August 2024, and I have no regret. it is so easy to use with no pressure to my hands. I love it.

Works every time to cleanly open a can. Simple to use; great build quality; and long battery life before needing to recharged. One of the best utensils we've purchased for our kitchen. Especially good for the elderly who have hand strength issues.

The Canslab Automatic Can Opener is a fantastic addition to my kitchen! It effortlessly cuts along the sides of the can, leaving no sharp edges—making it much safer than traditional can openers. One of the best features is that it allows you to put the lid back on, which is super convenient for short-term storage.It works great on most cans, though it does struggle a bit with #10 cans. That said, it still manages to power through them, which is impressive given their size. The hands-free operation is a huge plus, and it’s easy to use with just the push of a button.For the price, this is a solid, reliable can opener that makes opening cans effortless and safe. This opener exceeded my expectations! No batteries needed, it’s rechargeable. No need for plugs. But best of all it works! I’ve opened small cans and large cans….no problem. EASY TO USE. And it takes up no counter space, as it mounts easily on the wall.

Pros: Charges somewhat quickly. Very easy to use; simply place the entire can opener facing the inside of the can, align the circular blade to grip the edge and press. Press the button to stop. Also has a magnet to help lift lid and to adhere to can (issues below.)Has a built in lid detacher on the bottom of the can opener with the push of a lever. Battery lasts for quite a while.Cons: Can opener doesn't automatically stop once the lid is open. Some lids won't come off with the strong magnet (apparently it's due to glue on certain cans.) Switch to make lid opener come out can be a little hard to push.

For this family, where everyone is either clumsy or an arthritis sufferer, devices like these are very important. Regular electric can openers can be tricky to position, and leave sharp edges on either the lid or the can wall. Some try to mitigate this by dulling the edge, with mixed results. This design instead unrolls the lip of the can, using some magic voodoo that I can't figure out. Now, it does require that you position the lip inside of a gap, and on a few cans, that lip may not fit inside. So unlike cheap can openers, this one isn't quite universal. So keep another one around for those strays.I did worry that the "manual" version would require me to pay attention, but in truth, it automatically stops after two orbits anyway. I honestly forgot it wasn't automatic. And of course, as sometimes happens with this design, the lid sometimes doesn't want to easily come off, even after unrolling, and you need to find some way to grip the lid and pull it off. That's what the little metal thing at the back is supposed to do, but I can't seem to figure it out. 90% of the time, the built-in magnet is enough, but I do keep a stronger rare earth magnet in the kitchen around for those stubborn ones. Still, it's worth it to not leave any ragged edges around because believe me, at our ages, cuts aren't healing as fast as they used to.

When this works, it works like a charm.HOWEVER.... My second can that I attempted to open failed miserably (and so did my third). Also... I would not categorize this as a smooth edge when the opening is complete. I have concerns about the safety of these cans.The first can worked well. The opener buzzed around the edge of a large can of tomatoes without a HUGE racket. The opener lifted the lid easily. The edge of the can, though, was NOT what I would call "smooth" or "safe". It was pretty rough, and I wouldn't recommend touching it or going anywhere near it. I was afraid to recycle it, so I ended up wrapping the edge of the can before discarding it in the regular garbage.That being said, the LID had a smoother edge than what was left by a traditional opener. When I recycle, though, I clean out the can and lid, and then I put the lid INSIDE the can to protect from the sharp edges. The lid does not fit inside the can in this case, so I worry that the sharp edges are exposed and pose a safety risk. This is not going to help me with my efforts to recycle.Although I was hopeful about the overall function of this opener, I was quickly disappointed by the second can I attempted to open. This can had a very SLIGHT uneven edge, and the opener just could not handle it. I spent about 10 minutes trying to troubleshoot before pulling out my older electric opener, which buzzed around the edge with no problem.On to the third can...This was a can of tomato paste. Because tomato paste is so thick, I open both ends of the can and then I push it through to get the most out of the can. I have been doing this for more years than I care to think about, and I have NEVER had an issue. However... This opener would NOT open the bottom of the can despite several attempts. Again... I had to pull out the electric opener to get the job done.Bottom line.... Great when it works, but not reliable for all situations.

I was looking for a 220v can opener as I live overseas and there were none to be had on Amazon at this time. So I bought this one and have been so happily surprised. It's small and can fit in a drawer in the kitchen very nicely or can put it on the wall. It's rechargeable. But the best thing is that it works great and cuts the can around and leaves both the can and the cut lid with totally smooth edges. No need to be careful not to cut my fingers from the sharp lid that all other can openers leave. I'm probably going to buy 2 more for my daughters.

Great can opener. Worked great for about 8 months. Held a charge and easily opened all cans. All of a sudden, it stopped working even when fully charged. It would start to cut for about 5 seconds, then shut off.Big shout out to CanSlab! I appreciate the replacement unit. This unit seems much more powerful than the first. It cuts through all cans, even those will little uneven rims. Loving this can opener every time I use it!
