Make sure you have enough water to add to these in an “emergency/survival situation!! Other than that, excellent flavor and portion size. They do the “trick” to fill you up in an emergency situation and are good source of calories when hiking and/or camping situation. I DEFINITELY recommend these!!

Unlike a lot of MREs, these are freeze dried. Therefore, it will take boiling water to activate them and rehydrate them.Thankfully, it becomes with a guide in order to ensure that you have the proper amount of water for the exact amount of food that you want. Each item has a specific nutritional value so you can get the calories you need in an emergency; as well on the box there are a nutrition facts labels for each item in the box. Each bag is enough to feed one to two people so it is decent size per bag.I have about six sitting in my house so I consider a great value for the money. It last like 25 years. One of these days just for the heck of it I’m gonna open one and see if it tastes as good as or better than the ready to go MRE. But just remember this is survival food. It’s not gonna be cucumber sandwiches at the Ritz lol

Received this order yesterday, a bit earlier than expected. 1) Individual Packets were made of strong material and were packed tightly in container bucket. 2). No packets were damaged or open. 3) Included were a total of 22 packets, 2 items in 3 packets and the remaining 16 items in 2 packets each. 4) Servings on packets varied between 4 and 8 servings per packet for a total of 120 servings. 5) Because of original tight packing, I had one packet left over when repacking so I decided to cook it - Creamy Alfredo Pasta. Followed directions precisely. Pasta ended up well cooked and creamy if a bit bland. Not “delicious” but certainly acceptable, especially in an emergency environment. I added salt to my portion prior to eating. I highly recommend. Quality product.

I ordered this product along with ReadyWise 30 Day Supply, and they arrived the same day. I immediately noticed how this was a superior product. A few bags from my ReadyWise bucket had burst and contents had spilled. The bags are extremely flimsy. The ReadyHour bags are much sturdier and I'd feel comfortable traveling with them/taking them camping without worrying that they'd burst. Also, the meal options are vastly superior. The ReadyWise comes with a lot of granola, white rice, and pancake mix - all things that are extremely easy (and cheap) to store long term on your own. The ReadyHour options are more complete meals with more protein, variety and less sugary options. The price is also superior. For just around $1 a serving in my opinion this is a deal. Good to have on hand in case of emergencies, and will also be using for camping. Will purchase again!

Pareciera que con la descripción es un bote ligero con los sobres pero no, tiene una buena cantidad de producto y su presentación tipo cubeta es muy práctica.

I bought a few of these to have incase of emergency because as everyone knows it’s better to be safe than sorry. It’s helped ease my mind knowing my family has this as an option if ever needed. I can’t attest to how they taste yet but it comes with a good variety of meals that I’m sure we won’t mind during desperate times. I like the storage container and the fact that these are good for up to 25yrs if stored correctly. I highly recommend and think everyone should consider having these on hand for emergencies.

The Ready Hour Emergency Meals were better than I expected for non-perishable food. Everything tastes pretty decent when you're in an emergency, and these meals definitely hit the spot when you're hungry. The shelf life of 25 years and flood-safe packaging are big pluses. However, the portions could be a bit bigger, and some meals were on the bland side without added seasoning. Overall, they’re a solid backup option for emergencies. Not gourmet, but they get the job done when it matters most.

Got several of these for our emergency kit. Seemed to be a decent value for the amount of product you get. No, have not tasted it, so really not sure of whether the flavor is good or not; however, if ever needed in a real emergency condition, flavor is probably not a key factor. Packaged very well in a sturdy container and has a long shelf life. Hopefully, will never need them, but have them just in case.
