Seems well-built. I like the keeper on it. Mine chain is an old worn out 5/16. No paint. No coatings. Still didn’t fit. Had to file away some of the material just to get it to go on my chain.I installed a different brand choker on the same chain. On the same day… No issues whatsoever.This hook was extremely frustrating. Wasted about 45 minutes of my day Trying to get it to work.

These are very nice hooks with a very nice latch. The latch is some type of cast metal not a sheet metal one like most.
