The is thing is more accurate than any hobby grower would ever need. PPFD readings are within 1 significant digit of my friends much more expensive quantum sensor and a 0.1 margin of error for 10x less is quite a deal. Can’t speak to longevity but I’m impressed with the price and initial performance.

Works very well, able to capture different parts of my plants and record them, will help me choose a lighting setup that better suits my tent, honestly felt weird getting this before buying an upgraded light but I’m actually happy I went with this and kept my 100w for now till they get bigger

die Messungen sind doch recht schnell und präzise und reproduzierbar.Ich finde wenn man es in der Hand hat sieht es wertiger aus, als auf dem Bild.top, bereue den Kauf nicht.

Bin sehr positiv überrascht. Das Gerät macht sehr genaue Messungen und ist dabei einfach und intuitiv zu bedienen. Man kann das Gerät auch auf ein Stativ schrauben. Bin wirklich zufrieden, mehr Geld muss ein PAR Messgerät nicht kosten.

Been growing for years without a PAR meter. Tried a light meter once - but it was useless. Anyway, I switched to LED lighting this year - and being a noob to LED lighting, I bought this PAR meter. And it turns out it's useful ... Because .... It's consistent. It's accurate. It's easy to use. Let's me maximize the lighting without enduring any light burn. Let's me use the dimmers accurately. Turns the art of lighting into a science. This one's rugged too - been knocked around a bit now. Still works like new. Also has a record feature - which I've used twice so far. Might use it again - dunno yet. What I use all the time are the max and avg PAR features.

I was relying on the Photone app in the previously, which is kind of clunky to use with my phone. The readings would often freeze or tell me to remove a filter that wasn't even there.This gives you readings instantly that instantly change as you move the device. Much better and worth the money if you check PPFD often.

This is a good little PAR meter, especially for hobbyists or others who don't want to drop $300+ on a PAR meter. It feels good in the hand, sturdy, and when compared to the PAR/PPFD charts from a grow light as well as the Photone app, seems to be pretty accurate. It even comes with batteries!

This will give you peace of mind that your lighting is being used effectively and efficiently. I tried the phone app and have found it to be under reading at all levels so not very accurate.

This is a must have for any indoor grower. Similar to other reviewers I was scared off by the price of similar more advanced PAR meters but wanted something to measure the amount of energy my plants were getting at various distances from my light and also the strength of my light (e.g. 40% power vs say 100% power - turned up fully) this helped me dial in my lighting needs based on growth stage as to not over expose young plants and underexpose flowering plants. If you find what I’m saying confusing consult some of the experts on YouTube about DLI and optimal PAR for different growth stages.I was merely guessing or left to use light manufacturers PAR map as a general guide to figure out lighting needs (very inadequate) Once I got this it took all the guesswork out of the equation and help me dial in my lighting to EXACTLY what I needed. Very satisfied so far…

No carrying pouch included in box.Different model number on box compared to ad.Arrived a day earlier than quoted.Have no comparison on accuracy but works quickly, screen is visible even under direct daylight, easy to use. Simple.Only measures PPFD, no Lux or fC.I really want to give 5 stars, but the Model# discrepancy gives me pause and no carrying pouch. So 3 stars.

Very well designed and calibrated unit, that is well within 3% accuracy of the much more expensive Apogee PAR meters. Also VERY close to the Photone App on IPhone. Money well spent when dialing your lighting PPFD to perfection.Update: Meter is still working to perfection 6 weeks later. Used 2-3X per week as plants grow. Battery still at full power. Best $80.00 spent for my grows, and I grow perpetual. Don’t believe the ridiculous 1 star review. This meter is all you need and performs FLAWLESSLY.
