Product Description

Siemens offers a wide array of thermal-magnetic circuit breakers that are the key element for overload and short-circuit protection of your home's electrical system. To provide additional protection Siemens offers circuit breakers to protect against severe electrical shock or electrocution, mitigate the risk of electrical fires and protect against damaging surges and Voltage spikes. Circuit breakers are intended for switching and protection of your home's wiring from high temperatures caused by excess current higher than the rating of the wire. While thermal-magnetic circuit breakers are the key element for overload and short-circuit protection of your electrical system, there are potentially dangerous conditions that do not involve over current. To ensure the warranty on a Siemens panel is not voided, the use of Siemens breakers is required. Siemens strongly recommends against the use of "used" breakers. The installation of used breakers in a Siemens panel will void the warranty on the panel. Siemens does not sell used breakers and has not approved any 3rd party sellers to do so.

From the Manufacturer

Siemens plug in circuit breakers are intended for use in Siemens EQ, Siemens Ultimate, ITE, and Gould load centers or meter combinations. The double pole Siemens breakers may be used in 1 or 3-phase load centers and are 240V rated. To ensure the warranty on a Siemens panel is not voided, the use of Siemens breakers is required.

Had to replace my home breaker so I checked my local suppliers (over $100) and then checked Amazon. Same breaker but half the price. Thank you Amazon!

Installed this breaker for an electric furnace. Found it on Amazon when all electrical suppliers in a 200 Km radius were out of stock and had no idea when they could procure one. Also it came within a week and the cost was 1/2 what my suppliers quoted.

If replacing a Square-D breaker, This one is a little larger and a difficult fit in the breaker panel opening.

Needed this to supply a small box for our new tankless water heater. Breaker, and heater, works perfectly. Too well actually. Now I have teens who overly enjoy there showers and that old standby excuse "hurry up, your using all the water" just doesn't work anymore. However...that beautiful case to the water heater has this round knob, right on the front. And if you turn it ever so slowly...or quickly...to the left that water temperatue just keeps getting lower and lower. And just like that you've simulated running out of hot water. Or just push the knob in to shut off the water heater all together and listen to them scream. Oh the joys of parenting. Great breaker, no problems at all.
