This purchase has saved my life. Music is the best psychological thing I have ever found in my life and the Pyle helped me with saving my mentality. Such a great sound coming of this speaker,but,took me a while to set everything up. You won't be disappointed. Connected microphones and I wasn't surprised at all. My neighbours were. Luckily I have good neighbours and they have joined our karaoke. What a day we had. Lots of fun and quality music. Would recommend to any music lover. Not sure about battery life as it was connected to mains.

Unfortunately, You purchase this to use infrequently and that was the problem. After the second use very gentle the third time we used it it failed while setting it up it started crackling and all the LED lights shut down. after spending hours trying to get it to work again with intermittent success it completely fails. The moral of the story is this is Chinese junk. like many of us I fell into the trap to purchase something from China when I could have spent a little more money and purchase something made in USA which I had to do eventually.Therefore this product is not reliable, the company used to be a good US company but no longer. Don't waste your money if you need a PA system even if you don't use it often as in our case it is simply a waste of time and money

I was quite pleased with the sound at first. But after just a few months, the PA speaker became defective. The speaker would stop outputting sound (nothing from the mics) a few minutes after turning on the unit, and the a loud constant clicking noise starts to be emitted instead.On a side note, the bluetooth module of the unit I purchased never worked - no power. It's just that I didn't intend to use the bluetooth module so I chose to live with that.I contacted Pyle for warranty repair service and they asked me to ship back the entire unit (a 50lb heavy item, even though they did provide a label, but it was still a big hassle to package and ship it). I did so.A few days later, they sent back the "repaired" unit - the warranty info sheet says they replaced power board). But unfortunately the exact same issue developed soon after I started using the speaker again. So it was not repaired successfully. (the bluetooth also did not get repaired, even though I mentioned it during the warranty claim).At this point I'm really fed up by the system and asked Amazon for a possible return out of the standard return window.Thankfully Amazon did agree to take it back, minus a 20% restocking fee, which I accepted since it did work for a few months at least.

This thing is powerful and an awesome system. Fair warning though you will need to have some technical skills to understand how to control the sound. Flip side to that is that you have a lot of control of the sounds. I have zero issues with this system for what I paid for it. Powerful, not terribly heavy, and comes with two decent microphones that can be used at the same time and over the music being streamed over Bluetooth. I wish I had this when I was younger in a band. That is a killer deal!

Works well, but the speaker is very bulky and heavy. Yea - I'm sure it says that in the description, but I'm just miffed I'm the one in the group who has to haul it around.Edit: Jan 2024. This is still working, mostly. We mostly use it to amplify voices at meetings and the microphones have a tendency to cut in and out. I've tried replacing the batteries multiple times and it seems to help for a very brief amount of time. Either they kill batteries in under an hour or this system has other issues. The microphones are also the kind you need to hold right up to you mouth or it doesn't pick up at all - it is a problem with most people as they want it a good foot away (or they want to wave it around like a baton or set it on the table).

I am generally happy with the speaker. Sound volume and quality is good overall and meets my expectations. I also bought the tripod stand to put it on, so the sound will travel further and the speaker will be off the ground for more protection. The only thing that bummed me out was that I was planning on using the USB drive to play my songs and playlists on it, but there is no function on the speaker buttons and screen that gives you control of or to navigate the songs and playlists, so the speaker just plays songs at random. I've figured out a work around though.

I have regularly felt it would be good to have a solid PA unit, and an upcoming meeting that now needs to be held outdoors due to COVID finally motivated me to purchase one. After quite a bit of looking, coupled with long acquaintance with the Pyle brand, the PHP1599WU (plus a matching stand) looked like my best fit. Shipping was delayed a couple days for some reason, but it arrived yesterday and I unboxed and tested it tonight. Everything worked out of the box, though it did take some exploring to figure out the built-in FM radio. One plus that I missed when looking at the catalog is that this unit includes an extensible handle and wheels, just like modern luggage. Hard to argue with that. The controls and remote work as expected and the sound is quite good from each of the sources. I am looking forward to using it in my upcoming meeting -- lets hope for nice weather....
