It's not something that will help a Playstation that already overheats. But, it's good enough to prevent heat damage if you bought it for a new PS4 original. Biggest problem is that it easily falls off. It's worth buying a more expensive fan.

This unit works pretty well for my ps4 but it easily falls off.the clips aren't made to snap in tightly.i have a laptop cooling fan under it too so the 2 together works quite well
