Ive used BG 109 flush for years, it does an awesome job of removing built up gunk and sludge. I could not see the results of this product's performance since I have removed the oil pan after a BG 109 flush and I KNOW that product works. The reason behind the purchase was price and the fact in was made in Germany. I'll have to update when the time comes to remove an oil pan and see how well this product works compared to BG 109
