Love this electric citrus juicer; it works great. It's definitely not comparable to a high-priced juicer like an omega, but it's not claiming to be. I was able to juice 10 large lemons in about 15 minutes and got about 3 cups of delicious lemon juice that I like to add to water. I also like the fact that it reverses and that some proceeds go toward childhood cancer.

Perfect for our need. A very good product. You don't need to hardly squeeze lemon by hand. We had always lemonade at home and easy to use.

Have been using this juicer on navel oranges from my backyard tree with no problems so far after using it for a month and for at least a dozen sessions in which the built in reservoir was filled to the 24 oz mark with orange juice. I have been using the larger reamer mostly due to the sizes of the oranges. The auto reverse feature is nice to get more juice and uniform juicing from the orange halves. The feature works best if you lift up the half orange you are working on every few seconds, since the timer for the reverse direction is short and it only reverses when the motor is not moving. I have found that it is best not to ream the oranges all the way to the white rind since it makes the juice taste bitter. The unit is easily to clean, and I am doing it by hand it takes less than 5 min. The pulp screen is easily to clean just by rinsing with warm water and moving the level back and forth to make sure the pulp is out of the slots. I have not found a convenient way to separate the top and bottom halves of the pulp screen, and it is really not necessary as it turns out. The plastic cover that comes with the juicer, keeps the dust out when it is being stored on a counter, which is nice. The noise level is fairly high, but this is because of the gears in the bottom of the unit that convert the motor motion into the drive shaft for the reamer. There is no need to press down too hard to get the orange juiced (for ripe oranges), since pressing hard will also make the juicing less efficient, and tear up the orange sections inside. Each orange half only takes around 30 seconds or less usually to extract the juice. Based on the reviews, I got the extended warranty, but so far, the unit is working fine without any problems, making 24 oz of juice every couple of days (60 oranges or more so far).Update 4/13/2024: This continued to work great until late last month. It was getting more noisy as time wore on, and finally the reverse direction did not have hardly any torque left, probably the gearbox is failing. But for several years, it was a marvelous way of making large amounts of fresh orange juice from our backyard tree. I am planning on getting the latest version, since my unit is now discontinued.

For the last several months I have been on a margarita kick. Now, an essential part of this extremely healthy and worthwhile habit is fresh lime juice. However, juicing a bag of limes each time I am wanting one pitcher of "that frozen concoction that helps me hang on", was simply unacceptable. When you squeeze that many limes, two things happen. First, your fingers start to turn into a living ceviche, cooked by the citric acid. Second, you, look for an alternative. Knowing that we were headed on a trip to the lake with several friends, we knew that we would need a blender, several thousand limes, and a way to pulverize those limes. I found this gem of an appliance and realized two things immediately. Whenever I purchased this I became a hero. Twice.First: any portion of the purchase that is given to combat childhood cancer is an incredible thing, objectively speaking. So, in essence, drinking margaritas is actually drinking for the children. Am I a hero? It's not really for me to say. But, yes.Second: you will be a hero by harnessing the power of this little juicer that could and providing juice for all of those in need of juice. Some of the highlights of this little guy:-extremely intuitive: slice open the citrus fruit, push down, let it do the work-effective design: the design will fit oranges, limes, lemons, and also likely grapefruit. The receptacle doubles as a pitcher, allowing you to CLOSE THE GRATE FIRST, and then pour the wonderful contents into your blender, or sippy cup, or whatever.-easy cleanup: very easy to take apart and but into the dishwasher.2 crates/23 bags of limes later, and its still cranking out without skipping a beat. Ignore these folks who say it gives out soon, the likelihood of that happening to you is extremely unlikely.Be a hero. Add to cart. Find out yourself in two days.

I like it. It’s very easy to use, relatively easy to clean, and does a good job with both lemons and oranges. If you’re just juicing 1-6 or so lemons, and your hands will let you do it (i.e., no arthritis), it might be less work to juice them using a manual device of some sort. This is because there are at least 4 pieces you’ll have to wash afterwards with this machine vs one manual juicing device. If you have a bag of lemons to juice, then this device is definitely worth it.I think it’s very loud. I wear ear protection when I’m using it.The cord is quite short. This is a plus if you have a plug very nearby. It’s a minus if your plug is further away. The short cord will wrap around a slot at the bottom of the device. The first time I used mine, it tripped the GFCI switch on the kitchen outlet. At first I thought the juicer was broken as nothing has ever tripped that outlet. But then I decided to try another outlet and the juicer worked. The little manual that comes with it says it uses 30 watts, which isn’t much in the scheme of things.

The product it self works as advertised. With very little issues. I would give it 4.5, maybe even 5 stars, if not for the jacked up price.Pros.- I can get more juice out of a lemon or orange then I can by using a manual press.- Easy to use and fairly easy to clean (have 1 issue with cleaning look below)- Has enough power. I originally was worried about the motor, however I have tried to put as much force as I can with one hand and keeps spinning. Unless you are pressing with two hands and putting your entire body weight on it, the motor has enough power.Cons- Small issue with cleaning pulp strainer. The strainer is two pieces. Some times pulp or seeds get stuck in between the two pieces, and you'll need to separate the pieces to clean it properly. It is fairly easy to separate the pieces, however because everything, including the clips that keep the two pieces together are plastic, one of these clips will more then likely break sooner or later.- Pulp strainer will fill with pulp, even when you have it opened to the max setting. I have not attempted to do 32oz of juice at one time, the most I've done is close to half. There is no way you can do 32oz of juice without having to empty the pulp strainer at least once, if not multiple times.Additional Notes.- Everything on this juicer is plastic. I don't see it as a Pro or Con. Anyone with decent eye sight can tell by the pictures that this thing is all plastic, and the reason it is selling for less the $30.- The sound is the same as every juicer I have used, not sure why so many people are complaining about it.- I'm happy that $1 goes towards Alex's lemonade stand charity. However, Proctor Silex sells the exact same juicer in white, without Alex's lemonade stand marking on it, and no book for $12 cheaper. I'm happy that $1 goes to charity, but the book is not worth anything close to $12. So Proctor Silex has slapped on a $12 premium to this product, and is willing to give you max $5 book (and I'm being generous here), and give up $1 to charity, so they are actually up $6 when compared to same juicer they sell in white.
