ABOUT PRIVATE PRESERVE:
By observing practices in wineries, the creator of Private Preserve noticed the constant use of inert gas in preserving wine stored in tanks, barrels and carboys to prevent oxidation. He decided to figure out how to bring the benefits of professional wine preservation to the consumer. Through constant testing, he was able to formulate a mixture of inert gases (essentially pure air with no oxygen) to preserve wine inside a bottle which has been uncorked and re-corked, allow the preservation to continue for months and even years. We now we have the essential wine accessory second in importance only to the corkscrew, Private Preserve.

HOW IT WORKS:
Private Preserve provides a blanket of protection for your opened bottle of wine. This professionally endorsed wine preservation system uses a blend of Argon, CO2 and Nitrogen.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
1) Insert included tube securely into nozzle with a twisting motion.
2) Place the tip of the tube into the neck of the bottle midway down and against the glass.
3) Have cork or stopper ready on top of bottle resting against the tube.
4) Spray for 1/2 of a second and then 4 shorter bursts, both quickly pull the tube out and immediately insert cork or stopper into the bottle (for 750 ml bottle). Store upright.
**Remember in order to keep your wine fresh, you have to seal your wine bottles with a stopper.

This stuff is amazing. It helps you preserve a bottle of wine if you just have a partial bottle. This just kept me from throwing away so many partial bottles of wine that would’ve spoiled before I knew about this product. You can spray this over your wine, recork it and drink it a week or two later and it taste brand new. If you have not tried it, you owe it to yourself to try this stuff. It’s a game changer!

I'm so happy that I can keep a bottle of wine after opening. I've used it for red wine. Follow the instructions and your wine will taste just like the first time you opened it. Or, at least that's my reality.

I usually only have about 1/3 bottle of wine per night which means an open bottle must last 3 days and that is if I have some every night. Often I skip any wine for a night or two. This meant that I was frequently tossing 1/3 bottle or so because it had become oxidized. This has solved the issue!I do not think this lasted any "120 uses" as advertised on the can but it may be I was using too much per spray. Even so, $12 is a fair price to pay for saving so many 1/3 bottles from the drain.I'm ordering more now and will be keeping this on my wine shelf from now on.

Works well in conjunction with a vacuum pump system.

Keeps it from developing different tastes over time. I’ve had open bottles using this stuff for 5 years and it keeps the same nose and bite. Pair it with medical tape to seal

This stuff is amazing. Cheap, and the tin seems to be lasting forever! I experimented with preserving a nice wine for 2 weeks, and it was still very drinkable. Regularly use it for 3-5 days, and the wine just tastes like it’s freshly opened. Very impressed.

I've used this wine preservation system for quite a while now, and I keep buying cans as I go through them. So, I guess they work, although quite honestly, I've never run any kind of test - like open two bottles of the same size, drink a given amount out of each, use the preserver on one bottle and not on the other. Instead, I just use the preserver, recork the bottle, and pour wine at some later time. The wine does not seem to oxidize or lose a lot of its flavor, so I guess it works.

Permet de conserver le vin plus d'une semaine sans qu'il s'évente, et sans lui extraire certains de ses arômes comme le font les pompes à vide.

Exactly as expected. I bought this for my Bourbons and Scotches. Some whiskies benefit from oxidising for a few months, others are great right from the start and need to have a gas like this added to keep them tasting wonderful. Especially if you let them sit for many months, years. If you don't add a gas like this, they wont taste the same as the day you bought them. This product is well worth getting for this reason.

There are many great reviews out there for this product, which is why I purchased it. It adds a layer of inert gas on top of the Wine or Beer so it does not oxidize. You may be tempted to get a vacuum pump to seal in your wine, I recommend against that. They will not pump 100% of the air out, and the stopper could leak under the pressure and you're right back where you started. I have also read that the vacuum pressure is bad for some red wines. Now that you've decided to grab this product, keeping in mind it's just $10 and will preserve 100ish bottles, you need a good stopper. You want one that won't stand a chance of leaking in any air, or out any wine, if it should decide to lay flat for some reason. The best stopper i've been able to find is the . This is also $10, and works wonders well adding a little color to your fridge. No you don't need to keep your saved red Wine in the fridge if you plan on drinking it in a few days. But expect 30+ days for red and white wine put in the fridge after it's been open. Another tip, you don't need to fill the bottle with this gas, you just need a good layer on top. Insert the nozzle down into the bottle, place the stopper on top, ready to insert. Now lightly press the top of the can to release the gas down into the bottle, one long press, and a few short ones will do the trick. Seal it up and you're good. And don't forget this isn't just for Wine. If you like having growlers filled at the local pub, this is a great way to keep them fresh as well, you know, if you should not decide to drink it all in one night. Up to you.
