They make fancier hose bibbs that do the same thing but cost 3 times more. This design achieves the same outcome at an affordable price. I also suspect this design will have fewer issues down the road because it's mechanically more simple and straight forward.

sturdy, durable and most import does what it is suppose to do - add hot/warm as an option. Good to pets Happy with purchase.

I had a plumber install this valve on my new home and after the first winter freeze it started leaking in the wall when being used. Called the plumber and he said "it was probably because a hose was connected to it". That's what it's for! The anti-siphon valve releases the pressure when you turn off the valve, so It should not have water in it?The valve looks nice and functions well, but did not protect from freeze.

I saw comments by a user of the Prier C-108 freeze proof faucet complaining that it failed. He seemed unaware that you must remove the hose or the water can’t drain out. That’s the whole purpose of the faucet. It stops the water back in the wall where freezing doesn’t occur, and allows the water within the faucet to drain out the spout ….thereby preventing the faucet from damage by freezing because there’s no water in the faucet. Just because it says Freeze Proof on the faucet doesn’t mean it has the ability to defy the laws of physics. Water will freeze and burst the faucet unless it is allowed to escape as the design intended!

Terrible quality! have had plumber out twice to work on doesn’t matter how tight you turn handle it will not stop flow, this is a very expensive item to fail with extremely light use in less than a year amazon should immediately stop selling this!!! And it doesn’t deserve a single star put it’s got to be at least one to leave a review, don’t waste your money It’s a joke!!
