My daughter needed these to fix my granddaughter's clarinet. She said she had no problem using them.

First, I've got no experience with any other brand of pre-glued cork, and very little experience with this brand. What I can tell you is this product worked first try. You do have to remove the key your corking. I wore gloves while heating the key. If you follow the instructions you can do a professional looking job. The included razor blade was very sharp, that made trimming the cork easier. I was happy with it.So it's been almost three years. None of the corks have come off the flute I first used the kit on. I have since re-corked the keys on another flute and a couple of keys on other flutes. With the original kit. I am still happy it.

I purchased these via Instrument Clinic's Website. I was performing a complete overhaul on a vintage saxophone and needed a new set of corks these did great! However, I purchased the package which included an alcohol lamp. I completely recommend that you use an alcohol lamp, as it produces little to no soot. The cork provided is of great quality and will work correctly as long as you follow the instructions. Overall, I highly recommend this product in terms of quality.

I bought these to fix my daughters clarinet, instead of paying someone a ridiculous amount to do it. But they did not work, it is too hard to heat the instrument to get it hot enough to activate the glue and if you do get it on they easily come off. Do not waste your time or money on these.
