I just started sourdough bread baking and this set is nearly everything you need - just missing the common kitchen supplies like a mixing bowl and a Dutch oven! It’s a perfect gift for someone who wants to start making bread! The bread whisk works great. The bowl scraper helps to get all of the dough off the bowl which keeps any from going down my sink drain and clogging it up. I prefer the round basket - it is perfect for proofing the loaf. The bread sling comes in handy when using a Dutch oven. I would recommend this set!

I’ve been really impressed with these bread proofing baskets! The quality is excellent, sturdy, well-made, and perfect for giving my dough a nice, even rise. The rattan is smooth and well-finished, with no splinters, and it holds up well after multiple uses.I love that this set comes with both round and oval baskets, giving me flexibility in shaping my loaves. The dough releases easily with a light dusting of flour, and the baskets create a beautiful pattern on the crust. Plus, the included liners are a nice touch for a softer finish when I want it.If you’re serious about bread baking, this set is a great addition to your kitchen. Highly recommend!

I am a fairly new sourdough enthusiast, so I needed all the cool tools. This kit comes with literally EVERYTHING you need to make sourdough, except for the sourdough starter and the Dutch oven. It comes with 2 banneton baskets to proof your loafs, a lame (pronounced lahm, which is French for "blade"), a brush, a silicone mat to cook your loaves on in the Dutch oven, a Danish dough whisk, a flexible scraper perfect for mixing the dough and keeping your bowl clean, and a sturdy metal scraper. I'm telling you, if you are just getting into sourdough, this is the kit you need! Picture of a loaf of sourdough I made because that's the kind of person I am now. I'm a sourdough girlie. And you can be, too, if you get this kit.

This is such a great starter kit for baking sourdough or just bread in general. The wisk works great, the bowl scraper is really nice to have on hand. The bench scraper is sturdy and sharp. It also has messurements all over it, Incase you need to know your depth/hight while cutting or rolling out. There are measurements on the backside as well that can come in handy. The razors kit is great, I did have to look up how to attach the razors to the stick, but it was easy after seeing a video demonstration. The bannetons work wonderfully. Truly nothing wrong with this kit. Definitely worth the buy!

I just started my sourdough journey recently and this set has been wonderful to start with! Everything works so well and I love that it was all in a set and I did not have to look for items individually. I will say the baskets has a very strong horrible chemical smell and I am not sure if thats normal for these types of baskets. It does help when you wash the insert but the basket has the smell. I am hoping over time it goes away. It does not transfer to the bread though that was a big worry. I really dislike the razor tool and wish it was something different. It is very unsafe and difficult to store safely even in the little pouch. I would rather the type that looks like a small puck or almost like a knife cutter where you can pull it back in the "holder" to store and keep it from cutting you.

My NYE resolution was to become more gut healthy, which included making my own sourdough. I unfortunately am failing the sourdough starter game. Each starter I’ve attempted hasn’t been worthy; however I just found out that my friend that’s visiting is a sour dough queen! I showed her this set up and she literally said “perfection”. I can’t wait to use all of these goodies during her visit! Maybe I’ll be a bread making queen!
