My nephew loves this toy and we have fun play fighting with it for hours. The material is suitable for kids 3 and above without needing to worry about the kids safety but the point on the sword can be a little too “pointy” so just be safe around the eyes. Cool colors too and the toy has held up even after countless “battles”.

My grandson is really into warriors lately and I bought this as a gift for him. The excitement he has found in these foam shields and swords was well worth multiple times the price I paid. He and his brother can now have fun playing and not send anyone to the hospital for fighting with heavy plastic models I have seen. These should be durable for years of imaginative play. Not only are they lightweight but also thick enough foam so they will not break easily and safe to play with.

It was perfect for my two grandsons! They love it and played with the shield and sword throughout the weekend. No one gets hurt, but pretty sturdy. I would recommend this toy it’s great for the imagination. We are having so much fun with it.

First, I'll note that these were purchased for a 5 yr old. I wouldn't recommend these for kids older than that given the size (mostly) and durability. The shield designs are neat and the sword designs are interesting, but do not really lend themselves to "sword fighting" in a practical sense, even by 5 yr olds, as the swords are quite bendable. Perhaps that may be what parents are looking for, in that they're super safe, but this also makes them bendable, particularly at the tip, if you have kids interested in more spirited sparring.The swords are quite short and would be dagger-like for a child over 5-6, and the tip on the green sword is especially prone to bending out of shape, though it is "cooler" (according to a 5yr old). Overall, I'd say the price is decent for what you get.

My 4 year old boy for a while had the green sword and shield on him nearly all day for a couple weeks. He still plays with it nearly every day. He brings it outside and fights invisible monsters, he fights me, he fights dragons, he fights his sister who sometimes joins in. The swords are foam, so easy to bend, but they bend right back. The only issue after a few months of heavy use is the green sword's yellow decoration at the tip slightly peeled off, but that's easily fixed. The handles on the shield are also kinda coming off, but only the glue part, not the 'bolted down' part. I need to emphasize, this is with heavy use, he climbs up our bed with it, he uses his shield to 'lighten his fall' when he jumps down. The glue starting to fade on the shield is a miracle it's still even kinda on there.10/10 would recommend
