About this item

  • STOP BLEEDING IN SECONDS from lacerations, abrasions and wounds with Wound Seal Powder. This innovative powder combines with blood to form an instant scab, sealing out dirt and impurities to help accelerate healing.
  • HYDROPHILIC POLYMER and potassium ferrate powder creates a protective scab that becomes waterproof in just an hour. Because it does not rely on clotting factors, WoundSeal even works for people who easily bleed.
  • SAFE AND EFFECTIVE for the whole family, from grandparents to children and even the family pets. Respond quickly to kitchen accidents, skinned knees and DIY mishaps wherever they occur.
  • TRAVEL-FRIENDLY single-use tubes can be carried in a pocket, purse, backpack or carry-on luggage. Carry WoundSeal Powder at the playground, while camping or on vacation, wherever cuts and abrasions occur.
  • MADE IN THE USA, FDA cleared and tested by the Department of Defense, WoundSeal Powder has been widely used by health professionals across the country, including doctors and emergency technicians.

Time is of the essence

If you or someone you love takes blood thinners or has a clotting disorder, even minor cuts and abrasions can become emergencies. WoundSeal powder stops bleeding instantly by creating an instant occlusive seal over the wound. As manual pressure is applied, the powder combines with blood to create an instant scab over the wound, that dries to become waterproof in one hour. The scab stays in place while the wound heals beneath and then falls off naturally.

Easy for anyone to use

Simply open a single-use tube and pour WoundSeal Powder directly over wound to cover. Apply pressure over wound for 30 seconds, until bleeding stops. It is that easy. WoundSeal Powder works even on those people who bleed easily. This makes it a must-have addition to your medical supplies.

Proudly made in the USA

Our topical powder containing hydrophilic polymer and potassium ferrate has passed all FDA-required safety tests as well as numerous clinical studies, including one by the Department of Defense. Trusted and used for over 10 years in many hospitals by cardiologists, dermatologists and emergency technicians, this innovative WoundSeal Powder is safe for people of all ages and pets.

Take control of bleeding injuries in seconds instead of minutes. Add WoundSeal Powder to your first aid supplies today.

This product stops bleeding almost immediately. We keep them in the vehicles we drive and some at home. It is a powder, not a gel or ointment. Works better than what we used to get over the counter. We will continue to order from this company.

Actually, I bought this product for my wife. She has real problems with bleeding when there is a cut or injury to the skin. This product stops the blood flow immediately. We are never without this product in our home, and we are not hesitant to tell anyone how great we think this product is.

I am a retired military individual with much experience in performing first aid on minor cuts and skin tears. Having to used gauze and tape to try to stop blood on somewhat minor but free flowing cuts or tears especially on someone who is on a blood thinner has always been challenging. Here is where this product is really outstanding. I have been on warfarin for many years due to having Afib. I procured some of this product years ago to take with me in my vehicles and it has really been miracle in stopping blood flow from cuts on several occasions and I used it recently when I nearly cut my thumb off on a sliding door which had a sharp edge and I ran my thumb up and was cut rather bad on the sharp edge I did not know existed. I went into the bathroom and found two(2) tubes of this product and placed them on it and, it does burn some, but the blood flow stopped immediately and a week later you could not tell I had been cut bad except some peeling skin. It is a really great product.

I felt, resulting having a deep cut in my left ear. I was (and still is) on a blood thinner treatment for my high blood pressure (aspirin 81mg). No matter we did, the ear did not stop bleeding for two hours, threatening to become a major emergency. Fortunately, my daughter look up the internet and found this medicine on sales at a local pharmacy. She went, look at it, discussed with the pharmacist and decided to bring home, tried it since it is not expensive, worth a try compared to the cost of an emergency visit. She squeezed the medicine on a Q-tip and clean my cut. I felt a sensation of heat, not burning. The bleeding stopped almost instantly, forming a scab over the cut. We followed the instructions of the package and leaved the wound alone, after a few days the scab fell out and my ear healed nicely.

Comparing this to Celox, I find that they both work quickly to dry up- and clot- the wound site, but this one is just plain easier to use because unlike the Celox powder packages that you have to tear open and douse on the site, this one just twists the cap and you have a tighter opening to be more accurate with applying it. What the tube design also gives you is basically what the Celox-A delivers, the option to put it inside a wound and fill the site in case of deep bleeding sites (bullet holes or shrapnel wounds or raw punctures from animals or sticks (during falls). Basically, this is a more do-it-all applicator, whereas with Celox you have to get the one for surfactant wounds versus deep wounds. And let's not forget, when you need to use something like this, it's always going to be an emergency, because even smaller flesh wounds that bleed enough to warrant this raise the question as to how bad they are, at first glance. So, you're never breaking these out because someone got a "boo boo". This is for real, bleeding wounds. That means SECONDS COUNT and you must be able to use GROSS MOTOR MOVEMENTS to apply this quickly and effectively. ...especially if you're the patient you have to use it on. So, be ready with something that's easy to open, and easy to apply. THESE TUBES DO THAT JOB. Now, they are small, so be prepared to open more than one if need be, but that's also not a bad thing in my view, because it's not like you have to use a giant package for a tiny wound and later feel like it was wasted. If you have to open three of these for a deep wound, do. But they're light and easy to carry in DIY field kits or pro IFAK replacements.Keep them in your home (near kitchen and workshop), office, and, can't emphasize this enough- car.
