Very simple to wire up to my 2013 Polaris Ranger 900xp. Works winch much easier than plug in cable control.

This unit was a little pricey but decided to go for it As everyone else said, it does not come with any installation instructions. I took the advise of other reviewers and watched a YouTube video a couple of times and was able to install the unit in about 10 minutes.

I used it 1 winter. Yesterday tried use it and fob lights up moves winch 3” of cable and shuts off. Needs some ideas to ge t this to work before snow hits. Thank you.2019 I put it on our Ranger in maybe 10 minutes. Very easy install.

FYI ALL ...ON A ( 2012 POLARIS 550 SPORTSMAN) WHICH IS PROBABLY SIMILAR TO ALL POLARISTAKE OFF THE BATTERY COVER PIECE UNDER HE HEADLIGHT FIRST...WORKS GREAT ...I ZIP TIED THE RECEIVER TO THE METAL BRACKET HOLDING MY BATTERY DOWN ..IF IT DOES NOT WORK YOU HAVE 2 OF THE PLUGS REVERSED. PUT HE GROUND TO THE BATTERY POST AND THE HOT LED TO A ORANGE WIRE THAT HAS A SPADE CONNECTOR ON IT . IT IS ONLY HOT WITH THE IGNITION ON SO ITS BUENO AND SHOULD BE RIGHT AROUND TE BATTERY WITH NOTHING ON IT .ALSO THE REMOTE WILL NOT LIGHT UP UNLESS THE BUTTON IS HELD DOWN FOR 3 SECONDS.....SAME TO TURN THE LIGHT OFF , OR IT WIL EVENTUALLY SHUT OFF .HOPE THIS HELPS AS POLARIS IS LAME AND INCLUDES NO INSTRUCTIONS FOR INSTALL , JUST DIRECTS YOU TO THEIR SITE TO SELL YOU MORE STUFF...........GOOD PRODUCT OTHERWISETHEIR IS A VIDEO BY A GUY ON U TUBE AS WELL.

No instructions but fairly simple to install. Remote did not work after installation. Disassembled remote, battery was corroded and dead. Had to clean out everything and go get a new A23 12v battery and install, then the unit worked. Sticker on box said May 08, apparently date of manufacture.

easy install, love it. Would be nice if installation sheet was included. Needed to look up the instructions on the web. 10 minutes to install, An hour to find the installation sheet.
