For the price, I knew I couldn't expect too much out of this. Setup was okay, but you really do need an electric drill if you don't want to cramp your hand up. Once you put any weight on this, the wheels start to stick to the ground. I had to move them in further than the recommended pilot holes already, because they would smack the lower walls of the podium. It's very light, which can be a pro and a con. It's easy to move, but its VERY easy to tip over if the weight isn't distributed equally and moved carefully. Overall, I wish I spent a little more money on something of higher quality. I would recommend this a lot more if you are using it as a stationary podium, but put a weight on the bottom so it doesn't fall when you push on it.

Got this for church because I had a podium microphone I wanted to use. The wood is cheap quality and it was a pain to put together. Like that it has shelves to store stuff on and the color but that was all.Overall not a good find and is way overpriced.I hope this review is helpful!

So here we have a rather large (and the pictures are VERY misleading) podium stand with wheels. I want to say that again, WITH WHEELS.Out of the box, everything is clearly marked, and bonus points for not being with those stickers that just don't want to come off. Assembly, for the most part, is pretty easy. Except for tow parts, the wheels and the side panels. Once I realized how much of a pain the sides were going to be, I started with the back and went without the instructions... it's very easy to figure out what goes where. The wheels however, 5 wheels, each wheel has those standard 4 holes. Well the bottom that they attach to, only has one hole pre-drilled. So if you were to line it up, the pre-drilled hole would have to be in the middle of each wheel. So I busted out my trusty drill and had to do it all by hand. Easy enough to do, but annoying having to measure and line everything up.Again, this is a podium with wheels... if you look at the pictures you can see that the sides (and the back) come down to ground level. So these wheels have locks, that you can't reach on the back two and center wheels once assembled. Toss in the fact that those sides and back go all the way to the ground level. So you're dragging the bottoms of them on the floor as you try to roll this thing around. So forget about using it on carpet... that just doesn't work AT ALL.As for how sturdy this is, other than the bottom shelf, I wouldn't trust much weight on the top or middle shelves. There's no support other than the 4 screws (two from each side) holding them in place. This went from "oh, this is going to be my new printer stand" to... "oh, this is going to be the stand that displays a bunch of picture frames".Now I tried putting the printer on the top shelf and could almost instantly see the shelf starting to bow... so that's a no. The bottom shelf is solid, as it has 5 sets of wheels supporting it on the floor.

At the risk of preaching a sermon against pulpits, here goes. This is definitely the cheapest built, most out of date and unreliable piece of furniture I have ever assembled, and I have assembled a lot.Starting at the bottom, the castors are the lowest quality I have seen and the reason you need five is to support the thin, low quality board. One hole is provided for each castor where you need four. But since the board is of the very cheapest type, a screw can punch its way in easily. At the sides, the cheap board is subject to surface damage in transport, see picture. Worse and unforgivable, the sides and shelves screw together by putting screws through holes which are too wide for the screws, are not countersunk and rely on the screw head alone to tighten the screw. No means of covering up the screw heads are provided. One strong kick and the whole thing could come down like a pack of cards. At the back there are two (2) modern fixings, without which the weight of the board would probably collapse the whole structure. These things cost cents.12 of these at the sides with properly machined holes, and the whole structure could have been rigid, even though this is made of very cheap board. In use, the unit does not slide, it scrapes, even over laminate flooring with the castors all unlocked. Then there is the question of what century this was designed in, and for. It would be so helpful to have a block of sockets and USB connectors built into this as is the case with so much modern furniture. At the price this is selling for, they should be present. Now I have seen it, I would not pay ten bucks for this. The single most unforgivable feature is the way it screws together at the sides. This is not even good quality firewood.I might just use this for the one speaking engagement I currently have planned and see if it can survive being pushed a hundred yards to and from the place I need it to be. After that I could not with a good conscience let anyone else have it, and may just dispose of it.

This has many different possible applications. I can see it being used in an office setting for someone speaking. Or at a host area at a restaurant or cafe when people come in. But we donated it to the church so that they could use it. And it worked out well. I did the assembly, and while some people apparently had issues with that, I didn't. I can't say for certain that will be everyone's experience, I can only speak to ours. But it wasn't very hard to put together.
