The memory allowed me to be able to run games that I couldn't get a stable frames per second previously. It also allowed me to be able to have several programs open at the same time.

This is a "short" type RAM, most are long and until you open the computer you don't really know. I used Crucial and another website and they both gave me the wrong size memory. I opened the computer to install one of the wrong ones and discovered its a "short" one. Amazon had it , its the right size, decent price, arrived in fresh blister pack, installed and off to the races. Went from 8gb to 16gb on a 7-8 year old machine with updated software that today needs more ram. Worth the few $ bucks to put a few more years life into it as a second computer. Thank you amazon. Bottom line, open your computer first to see what kind of memory you have and how many slots. Especially if you have an older machine.

I7-8700t processor ( think) in M920q Lenovo tiny pc. OEM specs 16GB max. (2x 8GB) but Intel specs 32GB. These PNY are working great for me, and have a nice price-point as well.First task upon installation was mem-test under LMDE. results were absolutely perfect. I don't overlook or otherwise stress my multiple Tiny PCs, so cannot offer opinions of that nature. Running inside PNY and OEM design environments, they work great.Did find that 16GB is a sweetspot, and thought 32GB was overkill. Then used MakeMKV to transpose a 4k bluray rip. Memory got a workout, glad went with 32 vs 16GB.

I'm always like PNY memory I've used PNY my memory for my microSD card need. I got these after considering getting the crucial memory over these but I'm glad I went and got the PNY memory instead aesthetic was they look pretty cool with the black look. I put it in my MSI gaming laptop and everything worked fine on the first boot it's definitely made my laptop a lot faster to have the extra memory in there so don't have to run out of system resources. If you need ddr4 laptop memory this stuff is top notch I did add a rafting copper Cooling he says to them that are very thin and it seems to be keeping my thermals in check really well in a closed location of my MSI gaming laptop. And I'm glad I got them during Christmas sale as they are a great deal at that time for the price that they were asking for them I think I only paid $19 for them and now they're going for like $160 something dollars or more. The nice thing about this memory too is if I get another type of laptop I can bring them with me and just put back in the old ones in my laptop as they are premium memory and they are also cast latency 22 they don't support XMP that would have been a nice feature to have with my laptop but it depends on the laptop not the memory. I would definitely recommend them as a must buy

Excellent RAM! It works really well in my computer. I recommend it for all daily tasks. It's very fast and easy to install. It arrived in perfect condition, with no damage or impacts. The packaging felt very secure. I love that it comes in a pack of two.

I was experiencing performance issues on my laptop confirmed by windows task manager which showed i was running RAM at 80% of capacity. I was running 12 GB RAM and purchased this set of 2 - 16GB RAM chipset for a total of 32GB. not my task manager shows my RAM is running at 40% of capacitiy and performance is much better/responsive. I learned by trial and error that the key to upgrading ram is to ensure you have 1) compatible RAM chips 2) best to use the same spec'd & GBs chip if running multiple banks 3) do your homework before purchasing (got to any chip maker website to spec out right RAM for you device. Anyway, this particular RAM solved my issue and works as should.

Bought this for a friends laptop. It fits any ddr4 laptop. Functions great, lovely priced. And memory works well since time of purchase no complaints. Installation depends on model of laptop.
