I used these under our new heat pump that was installed on our side patio which is sitting on concrete that also touches the house foundation. Under certain conditions, we could feel and hear a resonance-type vibration coming through where the heat pump was installed just outside the wall. This mostly eliminated this annoying sound. We also put rubber grommets between the straps that held the heat pump unit to the house, which we think fully eliminated the vibrations. I am worried though about the cork expanding when it gets wet and is exposed to heat and cold, so time will only tell if this holds up for the long term.

The pads are dense and does a good job of isolating vibration from the washing machine.I've purchased a foam based and it didn't work as well because it causes the washing machine to bounce around...not dense enough. The foam is good for the drier but you need something dense for the washing machine.June 28, 2018My washing machine is making more noise now. I am guessing the rubber is loosing its effectiveness.:-(

Great vibration reducers for my air pumps and water filter for my aquarium. Knocked the vibration sounds right out of my family room where we have our TV.

I live in an old house with obnoxious lower level tenants who bang around and the entire house shakes which wakes me up. I used tthese under my bed and couch to keep these idiots from waking me up. Works pretty good. It does not cut down on ALL the movement but it cuts down on a majority of the movement.

These things do NOT stop vibration going from a floor to a bed frame, so if your downstairs neighbor has an industrial fan, as ours does, this product is useless. Also it smells like you went diving in a vat of petroleum. Then it makes your entire house smell like a vat of petroleum.

One of these is noticeably shorter than the others. I really don't want to install 2 different heights(it's at least 1/8 inch shorter, which is 13% of the total advertised height) and paid extra for overnight shipping.UPDATE:Received phone call from UPE(the supplier) two days ago apologizing and assuring me a replacement set was on the way. They told me the new set would arrive the next day, but it was two days. All of these were the same height. They don't seem to be the night and day difference others were speaking about, but they work to some extent and will certainly keep my 600lbs+ compressor from jumping around.

I have a 60 Gallon air compressor that I don't want to bolt down. I had it sitting on wood on my shop floor. Before I purchased these pads it would constantly vibrate out of position. I installed the pads on the 2x6's - well just set them there, put the compressor on it. It's been stationary for weeks now.Very happy with this purchase. I also, cut the fourth pad into quarters and put it under my bench grinder with the same result.Excellent product at a fair price.

I purchased these for use under the legs of a 80 gallon upright air compressor. You can't seem to fine them anywhere around and all the manufactures want you to use them? This set is the right size to fit under mine and I think most upright compressors. They quiet it down alot and help eliminate the vibration it makes (made). Try to find them cheaper, I couldn't!
