The lid kept coming off, I have 3 of these in red already and all very good, ordered one in yellow and had to send it back as the lid kept falling off when I opened it.

Die Produktseite zeigt 4 Boxen. Es wird aber nur eine geliefert. Die Box ist sehr labil.Für mich ist der Preis viel zu hoch.

INNER MEASUREMENTS: (What can it hold?)The 4-15 size (3700 series/model 2-3730-05) has 4 rows, with various dividers spaced:4.5"/11.5cm (2 slots-1st row),3.4"/86.5mm (6 slots-outside edge),2.2"/55.9mm (2 slots-1st row middle) &1.65"/41.9mm (12 slots- middle). It will hold items up to approx 3" in height, (but lid has a bit of flex to squeeze a few extra mm if needed). Without dividers it can hold items approx 13.5" long and because the horizontal dividers are not removable, only about 2" Wide. (Note that 1st row has 2 narrowed areas for the latch, that only allow 1.6"/42mm)The 4-9 size (3600 series/model 2-3630-01) has 3 rows, with divider slots only provided for the top 2 rows. They are spaced:2.6"/66mm (2 slots-outer top row),1.7"/43mm (6 slots-middle row),1.25"/32mm (4 slots-top row middle) &Front row is approx 10.44"/26.5cm (no slots for dividers)It will hold items up to approx 2.6"/67mm in height, (but lid has a bit of flex to squeeze a few extra mm if needed). Without dividers it can hold items approx 10.44"/26.5cm long and because the horizontal dividers are not removable, only about 2.25"/57mm Wide for back & middle rowNote that 1st row is smaller (2.2"/56mm) and has 3 narrowed areas for the latch, 1.8"/46mm and another area, 1.5"/38mm, that I find to be a wasted area that should have been widened.I added photos of the 2 sizes I purchased to show that it isn't just the dividers that are different, but also the height and dimensions of the box itself changes as well.I use these to store glass bottles of beads for my Jewelry making. They can hold a lot of weight & have never failed me like some of the cheaper dollar store ones with weak latches and hinges have. (Note: This is the 1st time I've used the smaller Plano... so far other than the lid coming undone a little easier than the larger 4-15 size when fully opened, but I don't think it will be an issue once filled and latched, it seems very similar.)They stack neatly on top of each other and being able to move the dividers around is handy to stop items from rattling around and getting damaged. Any extra space left within those spaces can be easily solved with a tucked in, balled up piece of paper towel or something, until I get the extra space filled. (And I always do!!! Lol)I hope the inner measurements help because I sure wish I had them for me!

I think all Plano boxes are pretty great- we have a bunch of them in use all over the house, everywhere from in the garage to my kid's room to my art studio and out in the garden. The cases are completely durable and uses for them are endless.I actually bought this particular case to sort my watercolor/Inktense pencils in my art studio, but when I received it I realized it's not a good case for that job. While the wells are deep and long enough (unlike the cases made specifically to hold pencils and pens, which are often only large enough to hold a handful instead of a complete set), the box is a little too wide, and the slots where the dividers go make sticking your hand into the well kind of a painful experience. But of course, this box was immediately grabbed up by another member of my family- I believe my daughter is using it to store the bands for her rainbow loom plus some beads and accessories. So I wouldn't recommend this for colored pencil storage, but I would recommend it for anything else- even if the specific purpose you are buying this for doesn't work out, I can guarantee you that you WILL find a use for this box somewhere else in your life.

These are really excellent boxes, I must have 20 of them in different sizes now. The dimensions of this box (2-3630) are 11x7.25x2.75.I use many of them as organizers in my tool boxes for hardware and small parts. They are great for that purpose. These are not cheap styrene that break easily and the pro latches are nicely durable. The dividers make them very flexible too. The only criticism is maybe this particular box should have a few more dividers supplied with it. Not enough of a problem for me to knock off a star though. However the way Amazon lists these without dimensions is annoying. And if you go to the Plano site it is hard to find the product by part number so the whole experience is really really annoying. It makes purchasing these much harder than it should be. If there was an easy way to get the dimensions I bet that Amazon would sell a LOT more of these.

Here in the south we are known for our friendly people, hot humid days, sultry nights, and delicious food. We also are known for our bugs! (insert creepy organ music here). Yes indeed, it's not to long after moving to the south one finds out storing items in cardboard boxes is just an invitation for giant mutant flying roaches as big as a thumb, silverfish, and bugs I don't even know the name for! We get rodents too.One of the best ways to stop the infestation is to not use cardboard for storage, so we are always looking for a good plastic alternative. Jim, my husband, was looking for deeper boxes to fit his shells. Since he is the one using the box I had him write about his experience:The Plano storage box is well made. The divides fit snuggly into dovetail slots in the box so there is virtually no chance the dividers will pop out if the box is flexed or dropped. The lid fits well and the latches hold it securely. My only complaint is that the front third of the box does not have slots for dividers.----------------------------------The lack of dividers in the front, forcing one large long space instead of the option of breaking it up, is the only reason this box is a four and not a five star.

The Plano 3630 is exactly what it is advertised as: a deep depth multiple bin storage box with adjustable compartments. The superiority of this box is due to several features:1) The box is molded from a 'soft' thermoplastic -- instead of cracking or fracturing the box may scratch or dent, but stay intact and whole. Many cheaper boxes are made from harder plastics with lower elasticity and hence lifespans. This is particularly useful if you are using the box to store heavy/sharp/metal objects.2) The box-top clamps (aka the yellow things) are made from a tougher, harder wearing plastic than the box itself.. it is unlikely that the lid clamps will wear out sooner than the box. The clips to which the clamps hold are fairly large and deep and should also stand up well to wear. Again, cheaper boxes will wear out quickly in this area.3) The lid hinge is mechanical instead of being a flap of plastic. This sort of hinge, while not as strong as a metal hinge, is much stronger than the 'living hinge' type plastic flanges sometimes used in cheaper boxes. On the whole I am quite pleased with the box. While the price is a little high for a container of this size, this box is built tough. Additionally the box is sized perfectly for stacking with others in the 3600 line, which is very useful for people like me who own quite a number.I store war miniature in my boxes, which often come with over-sized bases donating size. Due to the great depth of this box I am able to fit all but my largest pieces comfortably and safely. I can wholeheartedly recommend this box to anyone looking for deep, tough, and adjustable storage for small items.
