My deep ammo box says "Plano" on it and has "Made in USA" stamped inside. ...a huge plus right there. It's made of fairly sturdy plastic and will serve perfectly if you need a strong light box with a fairly comfortable handle and a decent latch. This should carry 20lbs or so comfortably. Mine is not waterproof because it does not have a gasket. But there is some interlocking with the lid so it's water resistant. If you know how to use silicone RTV you might be able to put in a small bead or you may end up with a mess for trying. I would give a solid 5 star rating if it had a gasket.

Solid construction and durable locking parts are something that you can always count on when you buy Plano products. This deep field box just epitomizes that. Its great as storage but there are so many other possibilities for this little box. Use your imagination like I did and you never know what you might make with Plano by your side..

プラノのボックスは一番小さいのからこの上のサイズまで3個所有していて今回4個めになる。この1612がバリや細かい作りなど一番荒い状態だった。製品誤差なのかなんなのかは知らないが、キズなど含めてかなり見受けられた。ただ、どの道使って行くうちにキズはつくし、ロッドホルダー付けるのに穴あけ加工等々行うので個人的には許容範囲。

Rolled the dice and lost. No water resistant “O” ring and no lift tray. I don’t even care about the tray I wasn’t gonna use it anyway but I’m really upset about the “O” ring. To buy a rubber gasket is going to cost me as much as the box did. And if I return it and order another one I’m afraid the same thing will happen. Emailed the company a bunch of times with no replies. I just want the gasket damnit. The black “Large” box fits my 300 blackout boxes perfectly. I can get eight 50 round boxes in there and then four 50 round 9mm boxes that lay on top because of the way freedom munitions boxes their ammo. I was never gonna use the tray because I wanted the box just for ammo and I know the gasket isn’t the greatest in the world but I live in a basement apartment and it’s better then nothing. It’s not wet and moldy down here but it can get chilly in the closet during the winter. I also keep Damp Rid in the closet just in case. Honestly I love the box just gage the fact that there’s no gasket and no one will reply to my emails; I just want them to send me one in the mail.

Slt à tous,Commande reçu le 12 Janvier Correspond à mon attente..Maintenant,c'est vrai que les commentaires disant plus haut qu'en forçant,ya possibilité d'ouvrir la caisse..C'est vrai!Cepandant,si l'enfant est intrigué d'ouvrir et de casser le caisson pour voir ce qu'elle contient,je pense que c'est l'éducation qu'il faut revoir et pas la caisse..Meilleurs voeux à tous,et charger vous..

Mine just arrived and I am pleasantly surprised. It's very light but very sturdy.The handle appears to be very strong. You would be able to fit a bunch of stuff in here and have room left over. Would be great for camping supplies as well. Or if you are looking for a way to store and organize some of your ammo away neatly this may be a good item.The rough inside dimensions are:13.25" Long7.00 " Wide8.25 " DeepSince the case is wider than the common military type cans you are able to pack them differently and the extra room makes all the differenceUsing as ammo storage and creative packing you should be able to fit the following:30.06 - 17 boxes12 ga - 9 boxes20ga - 15 boxesOf course if you want to throw the stuff in there bulk you'll get even more.There is also a mini storage compartment on 1 side of the lid to store any other smaller items, and the latch seems very secure so nothing will accidently fall out.I like the Plano items and would buy this againAlso this item is made in the U.S.A.

I got this to use as an ammo cache and its great! I fit 450 rounds of 5.45x39 in here, some magazines, some .22 and I still have TONS of room left. That being said it definitely isn't "too big" as I felt other options were. Maybe if you wanna store 100,000 rounds go look for something else, but the size is perfect for me and I would guess would be great for most people. I didn't want something too big--this is a very manageable size and when full of ammo still is a very manageable weight. Its made from very sturdy plastic. The whole item is very sturdy, including the handle--which I worried about under the stress of all that ammo. But my worries were in vain--its a very good sturdy design. Theres even a little compartment on top (pleasantly surprised me) for keeping cleaning rods/other small items. 10/10!
