I’ve only had to tap aluminum with it, so I wasn’t necessarily hard on it. Made good threads.

Bought this loose tap as I don’t have many metric taps around. Easier to buy from Amazon than dig for the ones in my garage. Used this a few times to chase threads on a 21 year old truck. Worked well. Add some oil when using and make sure you use a T wrench rather than an adjustable wrench like some hack would (what I normally always do )
