Does the job ok if you can them to stay. They are cheap and flimsy and like to roll up.

I haven’t played the piano in over 30 years so I am rusty about some of the notes. This really helps me to relearn notes correctly . I like that they don’t stick to the keys; they just lay on top.

it's like the ultimate cheater - and it's not permanent - so you can take them off and put them back as needed. they are accurate! and unlike stickers they are definitely in the right order vs getting out of order when sticking little stickers. i had to make a small adjustment because i am using these on a foldable keyboard, so right in the middle i had snip a tiny little piece so it would fit in. they slide right under the case on top of the keys so they don't get in the way at all or create any issues with playability. i am happy with these as an option to help use my keyboard ... perhaps i will learn to read music yet!

I love this piano note label plastic strip. This is a plastic strip (came in two pieces, since I got the 88 key option), not stickers to stick to the keys. The title says “stickers” over and over; the description says “not a sticker.” This item is indeed not a sticker. My plastic strip(s) came in two pieces, coiled up in a metal tin. I took the strips out and recoiled them the opposite way they were in the tin, to flatten them out. It worked just fine and my strip doesn’t have any issues being wavy. It lays flat on my keys. Before installing on my electric piano, I taped the two strips together, at the middle C where they joined. I have a Yamaha DGX-640 electric piano. The strip fits my keys well, all the way to the ends of the piano. The printing on the strip is crisp and clear and doesn’t scratch off.Several levels of piano players have tried out the piano with the note strip on it. The beginners are very pleased with the strip and feel it helps them a lot. It hasn’t hindered their playing ability, only helped it.The intermediate/advanced players who tried it have found it sometimes a little irritating to play with the strip on the piano, because when playing some notes in some songs the fingers make contact with the note strip, and that’s an irritation for these players, but the strip is also not on the piano for them specifically! They already know all the notes! So far, it’s been workable to leave the strip on the piano continuously, even while all levels of players play, but we’ll see how long the more advanced players want to tolerate leaving it on.I think this piano note label plastic strip is a great teaching tool and much nicer than having stickers on the keys. Plus it’s hard to see stickers when they’re covered up by fingers all the time. This strip puts the note above the fingers, so it’s much easier to see while playing.

I inherited my mom's baby grand piano, and while I took lessons when I was younger it has been a long time (ahem, decades) since I have had a piano readily available to play. Therefore my muscle memory is a little rusty. I'd seen something similar to this before for beginning piano players, but they were stickers that went towards the bottom of the keys. I knew I didn't want something sticky that could potentially leave residue, so when I found this I wanted to give it a shot. The material is a sturdy but flexible plastic, so while it came rolled up in a tin (which you can keep for storage when not in use) it easily unrolled and stayed flat. It tucks behind the black keys, and while occasionally I have to push it back down, for the most part it stays in place. And it is cut just right for the piano keys. It is in two pieces, going in either direction from middle C, which I think helps it stay down better. Being able to look at the sheet music and see the corresponding note on the piano has been really helpful for me as I start to play again. And I'm thankful that I found something that is not sticky and won't do anything to the keys since this piano has a lot of sentimental value. Would definitely recommend for anyone who needs a little extra help reading the notes and playing.

So, as an old guy who recently got a smaller 61 key piano/synth to play with while at the same time not yet knowing where a C or a G (for instance) actually is - who is trying to learn the intros to some spectacularly difficult tunes via Youtube I really needed this aid. This product is for a full sized keyboard - not specifically for my smaller one however once you figure out where your middle C is - it is easy enough to snip off the bit for the keys you don't have and to lay in the left hand side correctly to round out the full thing. I think my keys are standard sized in general (just 61 in total and not 88). For the most part this lays nicely- I am still trying to press the curl out of it a little as it comes in a cute little tin can all rolled up. I might do a couple of dabs of glue stick (above the keys, not on the keys) to stretch this out. I do notice a couple of deviations where there might be a little bit of a spacing issue - most of the keys line up perfectly and then a couple are maybe 1/6th of an inch off or so but in general this is great. I didn't want STICKERS on my keys so this is perfect once the curl irons out a bit with gravity and maybe a dash of glue stick here and there.
