We bought this kit because it was Perler brand and knew our daughter would love the pattern. She spent 8 hours completing the pattern and then when we went to fuse the beads we had problem after problem. After spending over an hour just trying to get the beads to melt we had to walk away from the project. In the end, there were sections that just would not melt and other sections where the plastic melted down so much that it was a goopy mess. We have used generic fuse beads with not problem in the past and, honestly, we will probably never purchase actual Perler beads again.

Was a Christmas present and she didn't like it at first but now that she's putting it together, she loves it

My daughter had a half day at school and so we decided to start this lovely little project. We finished by 9pm! With the whole family pitching in at the end. It looks amazing. AND, you end up with about a dozen extra beads of each color for future projects.

After reading the reviews I discovered the item was better than reviewed and left out key benefits that I have found to be better than expected. Price is not the only item and yes this was a fantastic deal that you can’t find elsewhere. And yes I would buy it again.

It was fun doing, besides accidentally shifting the board and 20 beads tip and roll. Other then that it was done in 3days, my 2yr old dumped the bag of beads on the floor, thankfully came with enough extra to use to rust color to finish a pirate ship I started. Comes with about 10-30 extra of each color depending on how much it's used. Ex: light pink I only had around 10 extra beads, the dark blue and green that make a boarder, at least 30 of each extra. Every bag could vary.

This is too expensive for what you receive - a bag of random beads, fox pattern, cheap plastic tweezers and one sheet of ironing paper. Colors look too similar under a transparent pegboard .... and I think there's just too many colors. They could at least put the colors in pre-sorted bags. There were not enough beads to even attempt the background; it is just more affordable and idyllic to get the huge jar of Perler beads and do the pattern like that. It's cute I guess, just gave up on the pattern after a while cause of my bad vision and guessed the rest of the way... I will be making patterns from scratch from now on.

It’s basically just what it says it is. I’m taking one star away because I wish they would have separated all the colors into their own bags instead of tossing them all in together. It was rather annoying separating them all out.
