It worked for me but if the nut is real tight you may have issues. I would buy a better one next time as metal is thin and bends. But it did get the job done.

Installed a water pump successfully on a Northstar easily with this. Works great and isn't the cheap flimsy one. I recommend it.

What can you say it is a tool,,You must have it on Cadillac De-ville up to, I think they changed it after 2005.Really build well.

This tool is a must for replacing the water pump on a Northstar V-8. Not a bad job at all when you have the right tools.

I actually used this to pull rubber suspension bushings out of a BMW 335 subframe. This thing took a hell of a lot of abuse with 1/2" all thread rod and impact wrench exerting a few hundred lbs of force. If that's your application, you have to bend the tabs in a lil bit to get it just right. Great to have as a universal puller of bushings, etc.
