I recently picked up the Peak Design Slide Lite in Ash (SLL-AS-3) for my mirrorless camera, and I’m beyond impressed. This strap has completely changed how I carry my camera during shoots—it’s stylish, comfortable, and incredibly well-designed.First off, the build quality is excellent. The strap has a smooth, seatbelt-like texture that feels soft against the skin but is tough enough to handle the weight of my camera and lenses without any sign of wear. The Ash color is subtle and classy, blending perfectly with my gear without standing out too much. The real game-changer here is the versatility. You can quickly adjust the strap to use it as a sling, neck strap, or shoulder strap. The dual quick-adjusters make it easy to switch on the fly, whether I’m walking through city streets or climbing trails for landscape shots. It’s such a simple design, but it’s executed perfectly. The Anchor Link system is another highlight. It makes attaching and detaching the strap to the camera ridiculously easy, and the anchors are incredibly secure. I’ve never once worried about my camera slipping or falling, even with a heavier setup. Plus, the anchors are low-profile, so they don’t get in the way when I’m not using the strap.Comfort is also top-notch. The Slide Lite is slimmer than the full-size Slide strap, which makes it ideal for mirrorless cameras. It’s lightweight enough to wear for hours without any discomfort, yet sturdy enough to carry a bigger camera if needed. While it’s not the cheapest strap out there, you’re definitely getting what you pay for: premium materials, thoughtful design, and reliable performance. It’s a bit of an investment, but if you’re tired of flimsy, generic straps, this one is worth every penny.Overall, the Peak Design Slide Lite is the perfect strap for anyone who values comfort, durability, and flexibility in their gear. It’s the kind of accessory that makes using your camera more enjoyable—and isn’t that what we’re all after? Highly recommended!

I used to think of camera straps as a necessary evil. Good when walking about, but usually in the way when on a tripod. Most conventional straps, like those supplied by manufacturers, could not be easily removed. Peak design to the rescue! I can quickly remove a strap when required and attach the anchors on any kind of tripod plate or grip like SmallRig. I no longer have anything but Peak Design on any of my cameras. A small but very comfortable and convenient improvement.

I loved how easy it was to attach to the camera and the versatility of the snapping it off and on was super quick and easy. Only think I wasn’t a big fan of how wide the strap was.

“Comfortable and Versatile Camera Strap for Any Setup”The Peak Design Slide Lite is an incredibly comfortable and adjustable camera strap. It’s easy to connect and disconnect from my Canon R8, and the versatility of the strap allows me to quickly switch between my Canon R8 and my old Praktica MTL 5. The box includes four attachment points, two of which are already installed on my Canon and the other two on my film camera. The strap is sturdy and reliable, making it a fantastic option for any photographer. Highly recommend Peak Design straps for their quality and convenience!

Photography enthusiasts know the importance of comfort and functionality when it comes to gear, and the Peak Design Slide Lite Camera Strap certainly delivers. While it comes with a higher price tag, its quality and ease of use justify the investment—earning it a solid 4-star rating from me.First impressions are crucial, and the Slide Lite does not disappoint. Crafted with top-notch materials, this strap feels robust yet lightweight, ensuring you can carry your camera without feeling weighed down. Its sleek design is not just for aesthetics; it seamlessly integrates with your gear, making it an attractive addition to your setup. One of the standout features of the Slide Lite is its versatility. The quick-adjust capability allows photographers to switch from a sling-style carry to a neck strap in seconds, accommodating various shooting styles and personal preferences. Whether you're navigating a bustling city or capturing a serene landscape, the Slide Lite adjusts to your needs, offering both function and comfort. However, no product is without its drawbacks. While the price may be steep for those on a tight budget, the quality of materials and the overall design make it worth considering for serious photographers looking for reliability. Additionally, I found that after extended use, the strap could feel slightly cumbersome around the neck, especially with heavier camera setups. In conclusion, the Peak Design Slide Lite Camera Strap is an excellent investment for those prepared to splurge a bit. Its user-friendly design, comfortable wear, and practical features make it a standout choice for photographers at any level. If you’re ready to elevate your photography game and don’t mind paying a premium for quality, the Slide Lite is definitely worth checking out.

…is the ridiculously good quality. It’s so good that once you get that first order, you immediately want to replace your other gear. Why not, you think, it’s just the cuff. And then it’s the slide lite. Before you know it, you’re adding the carbon fiber travel tripod to your cart. Be prepared to give PD all your money; they’ve earned it.

It’s a nice quality strap that feels very secure and is much more comfortable than the original neck strap that comes with my Sony mirrorless. It’s also long enough to wear the camera over the shoulder like a sling bag, so it’s easily accessible. Only complaint is that with a heavier camera, the adjustment lock doesn’t always hold it in place over time and it slowly goes to the longest length when I have a full 70-200 2.8 on the camera, but it’s easy enough to quickly readjust with the mechanism.

I recently purchased the Peak Design Slide Lite Camera Strap in Black, and I couldn't be happier with my decision. This camera strap is an absolute game-changer for my photography adventures. Its versatility and thoughtful design features have made it an indispensable tool for carrying my camera with ease and comfort.Firstly, the durable aluminum quick-adjuster handles are a true blessing. They allow me to keep my camera securely close to my body, no matter how I prefer to carry it—be it as a sling strap, shoulder strap, or a neck strap. The reconfigurability is a standout feature, and I can switch between the different styles in a matter of seconds, making it incredibly convenient for varying shooting scenarios. The 32mm wide seatbelt-style webbing provides exceptional comfort while keeping a low profile, and I appreciate the smart design choice of making one side smooth and the other gripped. This feature ensures the strap stays in place without any discomfort during long shoots or hikes. The new design anchors are a stroke of genius. Not only do they serve as a reminder of wear and tear, but they are also thinner, allowing me to use them in conjunction with my tripod. This eliminates the need to detach the strap when mounting the camera on a tripod—a small but crucial detail for efficient workflow. The Slide Lite's Anchor Link connection system is revolutionary, allowing me to reconfigure the strap as a sling, neck, or shoulder strap instantly. It's like having three straps in one, giving me the flexibility I need to adapt to various shooting conditions. Moreover, I must commend the total stability provided by the two configurable points of connection. This feature ensures that my camera stays in place at all times, even when I'm on the move or in challenging terrain. I've used it with heavy professional cameras and binoculars, and it holds them with confidence and reliability. The hyper-adjustable length of the strap is another highlight. With two quick-pull adjusters, I can easily find the perfect length for comfortable carrying, no matter my body shape or the type of gear I'm using.I also appreciate how smoothly the webbing glides over clothing, enabling quick and hassle-free access to my camera. It's a small but thoughtful detail that makes a significant difference when I need to grab my camera quickly for a fleeting moment. Finally, I love that the Peak Design Slide Lite Camera Strap does away with bulky D-rings. Instead, it connects to strap loops or the bottom of the camera body using ultra low-profile Anchor Mount hardware. This enhances the overall sleek and streamlined design while ensuring maximum functionality. In conclusion, the Peak Design Slide Lite Camera Strap is a must-have accessory for any photographer, amateur or professional. Its durability, versatility, and smart design features make it stand out from other camera straps on the market. Whether I'm on a casual photo walk or an intense photography expedition, this strap has proven to be a reliable companion. I highly recommend it to anyone in need of a comfortable and efficient camera-carrying solution.
