He comes back to tell me that he is so excited to write down his day because of his new book. The book is sturdy and the pages give that old time diary look. It has a good enough lock to keep it safe. It’s worth it I would say. It’s the same colour as pictured and lots of pages. Valu for money🤗

Mein 9 jähriger Sohn wollte unbedingt ein Buch wo er seine Geheimnisse niederschreiben kann. Und es musste ein Schloss vorhanden sein!Hätte heutzutage auch nicht mehr gedacht dass die Masse an Tagebüchern eher an Mädchen gerichtet sind (Aufgrund der Farbe/ Motiven).Aber da habe ich dieses hier gefunden und es passt perfekt für Jungs. Mein Sohn hat sich sehr gefreut und schreibt dort fleißig "Zeugs" rein.Das Buch ist wertig und hat genügend linierte Seiten. Das Schloss ist ein typisches Tagebuchschloss und nichts hochwertiges, aber dennoch reicht es.

It's way smaller than expected for a 8 year old boy too easy to loose if you know how boys are. I'll be returning it.

My youngest son is 7 and he's been asking for a diary or journal of his own...THAT LOCKS! ;) I've found it surprisingly difficult to find one for boys at any local stores..so I resorted to Amazon (as I often do). There are several design options with this particular journal, but we settled on this orange Keep Out one. It is not a huge journal, simple key/lock design that you would see with any other type of lockable diary, and it's really cute. He is going to be so excited to receive this for Christmas.

It is hard to find a diary for a young boy as most of them are designed for girls. My 9 year old son decided he wanted to be able to keep a diary or journal. I saw this as a wonderful way to encourage his creative thinking and writing skills as he is more interested in facts and math. I told him I would find him one I thought he would like. Well, I found this one and once he arrived he loved it! He loves the small lock and key that makes it his own private diary. He likes the front with the "Do Not Enter" and "Keep Out," and he likes the lined pages on the inside. It was worth the price.
