This works great. Holds much more than it looks like it will. It really contains odors, even in South Florida's heat. I don't put anything in that's not already in a bag, I'm sure that helps.

The design is nice, easy to change the bags. Helps keep smell down. I like the size, fits out of the way.

Love this thing. I keep It in the garage and during the summer it does pretty good at concealing the dog poop smell. Of course when you open it or if you forget to close it all the way the poop smell lingers but that’s user error.

Awesome little bin I found while browsing for this exact thing. Does the job extremely well, no nasty smell or anything and easy to empty and refill when needed. A definite need for any pet owner.

Perfect size for the waste of two small dogs, a miniature poodle at 15 pounds, and a toy poodle at 6 pounds. (that's what the dogs weight, not their waste. Sheesh!) I've tried buckets, doubled up trash bags, etc., and it all looked ugly, blew around, collected water, and generally looked ugly and makeshift, at best.This pet genie is well made, cleverly designed to trap odors, easy to use, and doesn't make my back yard look like what the pet genie is designed to hold.Very pleased with this item and it's a nice bonus that that replacement bags are easy to get and relatively inexpensive.Some reviewers commented on size. I could see that as an issue if you didn't like to empty it regularly, but for my two boys this is plenty large.Got poop? Get this thing now!

Uses a “trapdoor” and sliding panel to isolate the deposits below.Does a fine job on smelly stuff, and easy to service… I toss out out the collection weekly. Built in razor knife could be a bit sharper, but with a little wiggling, it does work ok.The plastic bag material is fine. I’ve not felt any issues or the need to double knot, which some reviews mention.

As the guardian of a beautiful black lab, I thought "Why don't they make a diaper genie for dog poop" and when I looked for it I found this! It's easy to use, keeps the smell at bay for at least a week (even in the summer!), holds quite a bit of poop and it quick to empty. If any review says they cut their hand know it was because of user error! Great product! GET ONE!!!

We've been looking for a solution for cleaning up our dog poop. I was thinking about getting a diaper genie when I found this pet Genie. Wonderful! We can clean it up, dispose of it, shut the trap door, and no smell. Its perfect for our 2 small dogs, but it is way too small for a big dog.

The Pet Genie pail works as advertised. It does a great job of sealing in odor and keeping out flies.It is also successful in keeping me out of contact with poo at any point. Nice Job!My only complaint is that the throat is too narrow and the capacity is too small for my situation--a situation that is not at all unusual.I have two good-size dogs that poop a normal amount. If I do a daily pickup in my yard, the amount is too much to easily fit through the opening. So I have to push and squeeze it through, which is pretty gross.I think the Genie was designed for single poop deposits rather than trying to drop in 4-6 poops in a single bag.The storage capacity is iffy. I think I can fit a week's worth of my dogs' poop into the bag, but it's tight.In short, the Pet Genie works the way it's designed to work. But those of us with REAL dogs could use a higher-volume solution.
