I've purchased a few similar to these from a local big box store. No only were those more expensive. There's no light indicating if it's on or not. These are cheaper in a 3-pack plus there's a light when it's on. I'm currently using one for a plug in air fresher that's in the man cave. We only use it ever of often and instead of unplugging and plugging it in. I can just hit the switch to turn it on/off. Sounds kind of silly but at least I'm saving money on the fragrance refills but it's more convenient then unplugging and plugging.

Use these at the cabin

Works well. I needed a simple solution to add an off on switch for my drill press. Way cheaper than attaching another mounted switch somewhere.My treadmill switch is down low and behind the treadmill. I had a plug up closer to eye level so just put this in an now easy to shut it off.

Perfect for those Christmas lights that you don't want to have to keep unplugging. Works like a charm.

These work. They are not expensive. You will have to keep them out side for a few months as the off gassing is pretty fierce.

I have a decorative lighted Christmas item in our entryway that has a simple wall plug. So we have to plug it in at night and then unplug it before going to bed. The way I have it set up to hide the cord makes plugging and unplugging a bit of a pain. This is such a useful product! Simple to use, just plug it into the wall and then plug in whatever you have that doesn't have an on/off switch and problem solved! I appreciate the design in that it's small and has the on/off switch on the side so that you don't even really notice it's there. I highly recommend this product and shipping was super quick too. I'm so glad I ordered the 3 pack which is a great value and because I know I can use this for at least one other holiday item in our home.
