The osmo system has been such an amazing system for my kids to learn on. Endless of fun and they are actually learning something while they play. My oldest loves helping his little sister learn her numbers and letters. Perfect to set up at our table while I make dinner.

Bought for my 5 year old son and he has a blast playing these games! It's very interactive and it gets him excited to play along. Plus it's very cool that he gets to see his "work" on the Tablet. The setup was not too bad, you do have to install under the parent's profile but it explains the process pretty well.

I have seen this product all over social media and commercials. We are not a tablet family. If our kids use a tablet, we allow them to use our ipad maybe once a month. I purchased this because my daughter kept asking for “ipad games”. I was not expecting much from this product. It is educational, keeps her attention, she isnt worried about completing tasks for coins to purchase things in a market place. Highly recommend if youre looking more for something that is more educational but still fun.

My four year old loves this set. Once they games are downloaded, they are accessible with all other users on the Osmo App, so my 4 and 6 year old enjoy sharing eachother's games. The games are great fun whilst aiding learning and the accessories that come with it are durable.

so you buy this thing as it says it is for fire tablet thinking it has everything to work with one and then find out after it arrives you need another adaptor for the adaptor to make it work for another $10 plus tax and shipping. It does not fit over the protective shell that comes with the kids fire tablet so you have to remove it, then place the reflector and after trying one game realize something is not working and that you need another orange reflector adaptor for the red camera reflector adaptor. I managed after fiddling with it that the red adaptor needs to sit higher to make it work. So i added a pencil between the tablet and the red camera reflector to keep things in place. Stupid this adaptor was not included in the box and the documentation is poor to understand that you need to buy something else thinking you already have everything as it says this is for a fire tablet. Not User friendly in this manner and you still have registration bs (emails and codes) to deal with. I doubt my child's 88 year old grand pa can figure this setup out even though he is a mechanical engineer with a master degree. This should be simple out of the box thing for 4 year olds not needing to look for extra adaptors and playing with email and codes.

I’ve worked in schools and seen Osmo products is use for years, and I absolutely love them. I was very excited when I saw they made one for younger kids, so I immediately bought this when I found it.Pros:Easy to set up and use, both for kids and adultsFun and engaging characters that kids likeSturdy pieces and storage containersGood variety of activities, both in terms of fun and from an educational standpointCons:Very young kids probably can’t do these activities independently. I got this for my daughter when she was two and a half. She already knew all of her letters and numbers, but really couldn’t make the shapes out of the sticks, even with the detailed instructions from the character. She’s just turned three. Even though she’s improved, I still need to sit and help her.The story game is more manageable for her right now, but there are so many pieces with so many little details that she gets lost looking for the right thing. It’s a great activity and I love what it’s trying to teach her, but she’s just not quite there yet.Bottom line:Little ones need help, but I definitely think it’s worth it in the long run.

We bought Osmo Little Genius starter kit for our 4-6 year old. This lit up our little one's face on Christmas day and I have to say it's literally the favorite (educational) "toy" for all our boys. They have not put this down and they are loving explorings and creating. We are able to hear our sons reiterate what is being taught and also working together to solve the Newton bounce games.I would like to say that we took the time to set up everything prior to wrapping this gift and it made their first experience with Osmo seamless. We recommend doing this for your kids as well so that play can happen straight out of the box.An amazing product, and this kit is worth every penny because there's so much to do and so much to add on. We will be purchasing all add one in the coming months!

My friend recommended Osmo for a while but I always felt the activities were too advanced for my 2 year old (at the time) Then I found out they released this junior version. My son is now 3 years old and this is perfect for him. It comes with 2 games. A costume / dress up game and an alphabet game. The dress up one he played for about 10 minutes which isn’t bad. But then we switched to the alphabet one and he must have played it for a good 30 minutes!!He loves the little monster and follows everything he says to do. The game basically provides you a bunch of “segments” and you piece them together to make the letter. And then to use those same “segments” to make an object that starts with the letter. They give you an example of one which is great for toddlers. My 9 year old was watching from the side and eagerly wanted to play with it. Even though she is older she actually liked being able to see the suggested object and improvising her own creation. Eventually she wanted to come up with her own creation without seeing the suggested one.I felt the letter game really encourages creativity. Matching shapes and colors. Practice letter sounds. The costume game is a fun bonus but it did not encourage much creativity since you have to lay down the piece of clothing that matches the one shown on the screen.Other than that, I’m really glad they came out with a set suited for 2-3 year olds.

Backstory: I have a very rambunctious 4-year-old boy who was struggling with knowing his letters. He had his numbers, shapes, and colors all memorized but for some reason letters were frustrating for him. I had bought the alphabet flash cards and he had zero interest in them and would just try to be silly to avoid working with me. I tried working with him in all sorts of ways to get him to recognize letters but to no avail. So, I found this OSMO game for pre-school and gifted it to my son for Christmas. It was super easy set up, a couple apps to download (so if you're hard-up for storage that is something to consider), but very easy instructions and voila we were playing with OSMO. (Review for the ABC game) From the get-go he loved it! The bear character talks to the child giving them instructions and allows time for the child to build on the mat. The bear gives encouraging feedback and asks the child if they want to try again if it doesn't match. I think being able to use tangible pieces to build and play with letters is very helpful for someone like my son.Overall, I'd recommend this to any parents who are wanting to get an early start with their little ones.
