Need to shave off the 12mm hexagon fitting in order to fit into spark plug bores ( that have smaller bore )For the price of it , it is still worth of doing it

Terrible product. Regulator completely ineffective. Cannot let any air through without modifying. Bad quality control; waste of $40.

The tool works great. But they should have to pressure gauges that are the same so u can read the pressure. The gauge that tells you how much it is leaking didn’t work right on both tool so took the gauge from to make one good tool and it works great.

I bought this to diagnose a Hyundai with a snapped timing belt to see if it had bent valves. Within a few minutes it confirmed my suspicions and sure enough there were 6 bent valves on the intake side.

Worked great to get the timing done on my N18 R60 Countryman S All4. I needed to elongate one hoe bolt hole a little but this tool is a fraction of the cost from a euro online retailer.

It’s incredibly easy to use, and the results are precise and reliable. The kit comes with everything you need to diagnose engine compression and leakage issues, saving me time and money on unnecessary repairs.

Did exactly what I needed. Found my exhaust valves were bad, saved me a diagnostic fee. Very well made and sturdy.

Purchased this to perform tests on my engine. The product arrived in excellent condition and looks like a quality leak down kit. I would definitely purchase it again based on its quality. I look forward to using it.

I am a pretty basic home tinkerer mechanic so the testing procedures and equipment are all new to me. The test kit seems well made, the gauges and regulator block maybe not the best quality i have seen, but for the limited service i would see they seem to perform the function. Given the test is not with absolute values as long as its consistent during each cylinder test its okay. Hoses all are nice and flexible, fittings are brass, quick connectors on the airlines all seem okay, they've added o-rings on all the adaptors and they seem to fit up nice and snug. I am not quite sure about the compression tester statement in the title unless you just infer that no leaks will result in good compression? apologies if i got this wrong. In bench testing it does perform well and seems reasonably accurate in detecting flow coming out of the block. Setting the hold point is easy, simulating a leak condition off the connector end works well and there is a lot of play between a full leak to tiny one that inspires confidence in the range it can detect.I didn't get a chance to play with the spark tester but it looks okay seems well made. From my perspective as a casual home mechanic/ tinkerer, this seems like a great kit and well beyond my needs. I like the testing procedure it really does seem to pull out a number of faults to try chase down

This seems to be a decent tool - and it’s a great tool for the price. The brass quick connect fittings work well and are leak free. The regulator is easy to adjust. The damped gauges have metal bodies and rubber protective covers. The range of adapters covers anything I’m likely to ever work on. The instructions are clearly written and easy to follow. In fact, my only very minor complaint with this tool is the fact that the instruction manual won’t fit in the case without folding it in half first. Be aware that understanding and following the instructions is essential - because, as with any similar tester, if you crank the pressure up too high, you’ll over-pressurize and likely damage the % leakage gauge.

This appears to be the real deal. Purchased so that we could have our own tools for our vehicles. We haven’t had a chance to use this one yet. We will update accordingly.
