Your cart is empty.Optolong L-Pro (L-Professional) is a multi-bandpass filter which selectively suppresses the transmission of light pollution lines. For example, mercury vapor lamps, high and low pressure sodium vapor lights and skyglow caused by emission from neutral oxygen in our atmosphere. L-Pro enhances the transmission of major emissions from nebula while offering great colour balance with its wide yet effective light pollution cutting transmission band. The balanced transmission allows objects with wide emission spectrum such as galaxies to be imaged with minimal colour cast (easier to correct in post-processing). Among the emission lines enhanced are OIII (496, 500nm), H-beta (486nm), NII (654, 658nm), H-alpha (656nm) and SII (672nm).

Un muy buen filtro para astro fotografía desde la ciudad, mejora de forma notable la calidad de las imágenes al controlar el brillo de la contaminación lumínica. Los materiales son de muy buena calidad y el procesado de la foto es más fácil. Recomendado.

I think a couple of lightly-processed photos of the rosette and helix nebulae taken from a bortle 8 with a 70mm refractor and a one-shot color camera do most of the talking. About 15 minutes of light each.This filter does a great job on cutting out all my local light pollution while letting in enough good broadband light that it doesn't take me all night to get one or two pretty pictures. Possibly less expensive filters might be adequate, but they didn't come with transmission curves. I'll probably leave this permanently attached to my EAA rig.
