I need to cut holes in the lids of 16oz deli cups to fit various sizes of Oyama planters. These are 2 part planters developed for African violets, and commonly used by people who show their plants. They have a water reservoir, but it doesn't hold enough water to allow an extended vacation. The upper part has an extension that extends into the reservoir. I modified the interior of the upper pot to allow a "wick" to be placed in the soil. The wick then extends into the deli-cup, holding enough water for 14-20 days. The hole in the lid has to allow a secure, snug fit so the plant can't tip over. The photo shows a plant placed in the deli cup setup on 7/14/24. As of 7/31/24 it still has enough water for another day or two.

Lo quería prácticamente para realizar unos anillos circulares en cartón pluma, de 5mm, que es bastante. Depende de tu paciencia la precisión de los cortes. Cuántas más pasadas más superficiales hagas, mejor. Si aprietas mucho corres el riesgo de holgar el agujero de la aguja. En la primera foto se ve el primer anillo que he hecho con más prisas a la izquierda y los cuatro finales a la derecha. También muestro los recortes internos de los anillos, que pueden ser aprovechados como círculos perfectamente y el corte de otros cuatro círculos de 2,5 mm.La almohadilla la he usado para evitar hacer el agujero de primeras en el cartón, para que cuando lo hiciera, no se holgara demasiado. Aunque por apretar demasiado para que no resbalara, he acabado haciendo un agujero en la almohadilla. Pero esto se puede sustituir por cualquier trozo de algo que no deslice.Con el cartón pluma (y más materiales gruesos) siempre va a haber una holgura en el agujero de la aguja que hará que la circularidad no sea perfecta, aunque en su aplicación para manualidades, apenas se aprecia. Aunque intuyo que esto es algo que le pasa a todos los cutters de este tipo. Y en papel y cartulina el corte es perfecto, por supuesto.Teniendo en cuenta las limitaciones físicas de este tipo de herramienta, estoy bastante satisfecho con la compra. Además de que es muy cómodo de usar. La carraca del mango superior te da bastante libertad de movimiento y la aguja se queda bien fija con el sistema de sujeción.

it is better if a project book/manual of easy projects of its utility be provided for kids for inspiration of art and crafts purposes,may be in form of a few pamphlet pages or a catalouge.
