I tried to remove a 22mm o2 sensor with this socket, and it flexed and twisted so badly it was about to break, it is nowhere near strong enough for removal. I ended up cutting off the wires and used my regular 22mm socket, the old sensor came loose easily. On the bright side, I was able to use this weak o2 sensor socket to install the new sensor, since it required minimal torque. The fact that they made the o2 socket with an unnecessarily wide 5/8" gap to clear the wires certainly weakens it, but the steel they used is poor quality regardless. It's not worth my time to return this thing, and it was inexpensive, so I'll keep it to use for installs only. lol Get what you pay for.

This will work well if you do not have to apply too much force to the sensor to get it loose; otherwise the socket has a tendency to deform a bit and you may have to apply some force to the socket to get it to let go of the sensor. Reasonable for the price.

The way the slot is cut on the deep socket works great for sensors that have wires in them

Bought this to remove a stuck O2 sensor. Didn't work. There is too much flex and the end of the socket opens and eats the corners of the nut on the sensor. Might work on a less stuck sensor but then so would a regular open wrench.

I'm not sure why you make it so thin walled as that's normally an area of difficulty on most sensors except to save money??Their thin design deforms and jumps to the next set of flats on the sensor somewhat rounding off the corners to make removal with a decent wrench more questionable. The only use I see this suitable for would be installing a new sensor in a fresh clean bung but removing a sensor not that badly seized good luck.Disappointed 😞

At $9.99 - $10.99, this is a good buy. It helped replacing the fuel/air sensor of 2011 Honda CRV. Use of a 1/2" drive 24" long handle breaker bar is recommended. Please, spray WD-40 and wait for 4 hours of so prior to an attempt to remove the fuel/air or oxygen sensor. Hurry upping may result in a real mess with a deformed Fuel/Air sensor still stuck on the bung.
